Well, that awful record is thanks to the wonderful English, who have hosted the World Cup a record 4 times and have won none. India have been hosts twice with Australia, South Africa, and West Indies hosting it only once. Hardly enough data to conclude it as a "jinx." Though I would agree that English cricket team just sucks.

Thanks for the additional nonsense. I might not be a Cambridge student but I know how to ignore trash. Nevertheless, the ICC Champions Trophy in 2002 was hosted in Sri Lanka and both Sri Lanka and India were declared co-champions. So your statement is wrong regardless.
