abhinav Posted April 28, 2010 Posted April 28, 2010 As usual, TOI reporting this trash. I am beginning to hate TOI for all the tabloid and scandalous journalism they have been dishing out.
Lord Posted April 28, 2010 Posted April 28, 2010 so this confirms my worst fears.everybody knew the result beforehand.as i said the other day Chennai were chosen to win.
HowardRoark Posted April 28, 2010 Posted April 28, 2010 so this confirms my worst fears.everybody knew the result beforehand.as i said the other day Chennai were chosen to win. and please change your display pic...surely, you wouldn't like to have a match fixer in your display pic?
Lord Posted April 28, 2010 Posted April 28, 2010 and please change your display pic...surely' date=' you wouldn't like to have a match fixer in your display pic?[/quote'] ofcourse, but I still have full confidence in Sachin n few others that they wouldnt fix it.ots Lalit Modi who wanted to make some money n forced some of the players to underperform. besides,if Sachin wanted to fix it,why would he play with 5 stitches?
achilles Posted April 28, 2010 Posted April 28, 2010 Yep, why would he play with 5 stitches? My respect for him as only increased, with his appearance in the final.
HowardRoark Posted April 28, 2010 Posted April 28, 2010 ofcourse, but I still have full confidence in Sachin n few others that they wouldnt fix it.ots Lalit Modi who wanted to make some money n forced some of the players to underperform. besides,if Sachin wanted to fix it,why would he play with 5 stitches? So you want to believe the match was fixed and somehow Sachin was not involved...hmmm I guess that would help you to keep thinking MI was the best and SRT was denied the trophy...keep thinking if it helps you sleep at the cost of tarnishing IPL and its winner...
Lord Posted April 28, 2010 Posted April 28, 2010 So you want to believe the match was fixed and somehow Sachin was not involved...hmmm I guess that would help you to keep thinking MI was the best and SRT was denied the trophy...keep thinking if it helps you sleep at the cost of tarnishing IPL and its winner... no i dont wanna spoil the party for CSK fans, but if somebody tells before the finals, that CSK is gonna be in the finals n win it too, that too wen they r 140 allout against DC n CSK does win, something is fishy for sure.now this report also confirms it. about Sachin, there r many stories of him winning the match for India wen Azhar n Jadeja were playing for the opposition,so that is possible here too,no? lastly,i dont care whether MI wins or CSK wins as my team was out much earlier,i just wanted a fair game. i was hoping for MI to win but only to quash my doubts.i just a wanted a good game of entertainment where all 22 players were playing with equal jest, that wasnt the case

Roshanrocks Posted April 28, 2010 Posted April 28, 2010 sachin didnt walk:(( Its difficult to know when the ball kisses your gloves..... especially when ur adrenalin is pumping
zubinpepsi Posted April 28, 2010 Posted April 28, 2010 Its difficult to know when the ball kisses your gloves..... especially when ur adrenalin is pumping but but but wasnt this match fixed.. why dint he walk then???
Lord Posted April 28, 2010 Posted April 28, 2010 that explains your bitterness my lord and the comfort that the IPL was fixed gives you... there is no bitterness,i already said that my team was out,so this was a neutral game for me.i am not saying it was fixed for sure, but there is strong possibility.i know u believe it but one of my neighbours who is a small time sattebaaz told me that it was fixed n that Chennai is gonna win the IPLn this he told me BEFORE the 2nd innings of semifinal b/w DC n CSK.That CSK has won might just be a coincidence, but all these reports coming in,something is fishy somewhere for sure i can understand ur stand.if my team won n somebody said it was fixed,i would be angry as well.for the nth time i DO NOT want to take anything away from them, they played well
Params7 Posted April 28, 2010 Posted April 28, 2010 Its match fixing in every outcome, that's what I've learned from some Indian fans. Pakis can claim its a fixed all the time because for them its actually true but c'mon, Dhoni, Sachin Captains, continuous government raid of documents on other end, lot of well respect international players and no-name Indian newcomers who are already paid well beyond their dreams just for playing legit and suddenly Modi would fix the final with them? Sometimes its just very annoying to see people bring up the "match fixed" card. Guess all you can do is just ignore them. So many freakin' match-fixing articles, and yet has ANY cricketer been named? Any actual arrests made yet?
Params7 Posted April 28, 2010 Posted April 28, 2010 Also without the Captain's involvement how would you even fix a match in T20? Decisions change all the time, you may go in as the primary death bowler but the Captain may change his mind at the last moment, rosters themselves change at the last moment. If you believe the finals really were fixed then only point I can find in the whole match is Sachin not sending Pollard in early. Ohohohohoh. God finally gives in to match fixing huh.
