Sachinism Posted April 30, 2010 Posted April 30, 2010 SL - Sangakarra Eng - Collingwood Ind - Gambhir + Raina Pakistan - :dontknow: Australia - Warner Zim - Chigumbura SA - :dontknow: NZ - Ross Taylor Bangla - Keyes
Bublu Bhuyan Posted April 30, 2010 Posted April 30, 2010 As much as I despise this format, I'll still watch it this time. I'm expecting Raina to show some good fireworks throughout the series.
f2000560 Posted April 30, 2010 Posted April 30, 2010 Sl - Mahela India - Raina Pakistan - Misbah Bangladesh - Tamim England - Morgan Australia - warner Zim - Chigumbura Afghan - ? Ireland- Nial o'Brain ? West Indies - POllard NZ - Ryder SA - Gibbs ?
Bublu Bhuyan Posted April 30, 2010 Posted April 30, 2010 Pakistan - Misbah Gosh, you have hopes with this guy? Almost all Pak fans have given up hope on him. He is surviving purely because of that knock in the 2007 T20 WC Final, and his good performance in the 2007 Test series against us. Apart from that he has done nothing.
Zelig Posted April 30, 2010 Posted April 30, 2010 SL - Mahela India - Dhoni Pakistan - Umar Bangladesh - Tamim England - KP Australia - White Zim - Chigumbura Ireland- Nial o'Brien West Indies - Gayle NZ - Baz SA - Kallis

I would have gone for umar akmal but haven't seen much of him yet
Sachinism Posted April 30, 2010 Posted April 30, 2010 Why you guys picking Tamim? Is he not injured and not playing the WC?
Zelig Posted April 30, 2010 Posted April 30, 2010 Why you guys picking Tamim? Is he not injured and not playing the WC? Oh!Then saqib it will be. Generally, all those who have a sound technique and better players of spin should do well.

Bublu Bhuyan Posted April 30, 2010 Posted April 30, 2010 well i don't think there is much in the paki batting lineup I for one would not be surprised to see them fold within hundred once maybe even twice if they get far. I would have gone for umar akmal but haven't seen much of him yet Umar Akmal has shown to be a very promising talent. He is probably the one to look out for the most in this tournament. I don't think they'll fold under 100. I agree that's the case in Tests and ODI's because that's where the real ability of a team shows up, but T20 is just about a little planning and more of slogging. Guys like Razzaq, Afridi, etc have the ability to slog and take their team to respectable totals.
Bublu Bhuyan Posted April 30, 2010 Posted April 30, 2010 Ind-Raina n UV Usually he has been our key player in the T20 format, but he's been horribly out of form in this season's IPL. Add to that the fatigue factor doesn't help either.

Bublu Bhuyan Posted April 30, 2010 Posted April 30, 2010 ya i know but i am hopin he rises to the big occasion. Same here. Sehwag out with an injury is already a devastating blow. If UV dosn't strike form either, it'll be even worse.

If UV dosn't strike form either' date=' it'll be even worse.[/quote'] yes i am also hoping that Dhoni uses him well.he should get atleast 10 overs.last time he could have won it for us but Dhoni inexplicably promoted Jadeja ahead of him.hope he doesnt commit the same mistake.in form or out of form,Yuvraj remains our most important batsman

Exactly what I was thinking.
