DomainK Posted October 27, 2009 Posted October 27, 2009 I smoked once and tasted alcohol when I was young. Did't like. Never touched either ever after.

nikred Posted October 27, 2009 Posted October 27, 2009 I smoked once and tasted alcohol when I was young. Did't like. Never touched either ever after. My dad says when I was around 6-7 yrs old he gave me a spoonful of whisky. He says, I made a disgusting face and went away only to come back few minutes later for more.
Riley's Girl Posted October 27, 2009 Posted October 27, 2009 That's another good movie. Shows how trafficking of weapons takes place. In my opinion it has one of the best opening sequence for a movie. Will have to make time for it then.

Riley's Girl Posted October 27, 2009 Posted October 27, 2009 I know after 18 years it's old news, but THE ADDAMS FAMILY still rocks.
nikred Posted October 28, 2009 Posted October 28, 2009 I know after 18 years it's old news' date=' but THE ADDAMS FAMILY still rocks.[/quote'] I remember watching it as a young kid. Needless to say I was weirded out, more like WTF than scared. I can still not forget the sequence of Thing running around the house. :P Talking about movies as kid, I had a collection of movies I love mostly for nostalgic reasons. My dad had a decent collection of video cassettes. I will try to name the English ones : Mary Poppins Modern Times (Charlie Chaplin) Grease 2 Various concerts of ABBA :icflove:
Riley's Girl Posted October 28, 2009 Posted October 28, 2009 Mary Poppins is a classic and a favourite! Talking about Julie Andrews,my mom also introduced me to The Sound of Music. And since she's one of the biggest ABBA fans around, I know many of their songs.

Have you seen I'm Not There? Movie about Bob Dylan. Saw part of it yesterday and it was enough to convince me to watch it from the start when I have time.
