CSK Fan Posted May 4, 2010 Posted May 4, 2010 A minority of radical Muslims are undermining the work of good Muslims. It is not right to blame the entire nation just because some people rear their ugly heads every now and then. The question is how can the community eradicate the fanatics among them. This is a vicious cycle....but I believe there will be progress. What signs have they shown that they are serious about tackling the problem? So many muslims are in arms against a cartoon depicting their prophet but how many agther to condemn terrorist acts? Despite the tons of evidence shown for the Mumbai attacks, what steps have Pak taken to convict anyone? Since the attackers are in their soil isnt the onus on them to investigae and find evidence? Hoe can indian agencies give evidence sitting in India. Will they allow Indian agents to go there and investigate? Every country in the world treat people suspected of terror activities with different laws than common people but not Pak. There they have more leeway than the common people
Sachinism Posted May 4, 2010 Posted May 4, 2010 If you can get only 25% - I am not even asking for a majority - of the Pakistanis to say that Jama'at-ud-Da'wah is a terrorist organization with a charity front' date=' a fact acknowledged by the UN, I will agree with you that it's a few Pakistanis spoiling the reputation of a great country.[/quote'] Absolutely agree. When do you hear of Pakistanis say anything other than its a conspiracy against Islam or Pakistan. They're just living in denial. Not speaking up and letting it happen is just as bad as committing the acts of terrorism. How can none of these people know their children are joining terrorist organisations? Just went on a Pakistani site and read some of the views and guess what? Its a conspiracy to make people forget about the BP and the Oil spillage
rabinjackman Posted May 4, 2010 Posted May 4, 2010 there are pakistanis in my office who believe that Indian intelligence are creating tragedies in our own country n blaming it on pakistan :cantstop:
Mamu Posted May 4, 2010 Posted May 4, 2010 Here to reinforce my earlier post. A Paki on Yahoo Message Board The Indians who fund and train the Pakistani Taliban in their proxy war against Pakistan have found a good target...kill Americans through some Pakistani loonys in America and get Pakistan declared a terrorist state... a state which has been the victim of Indian terrorism since the day of its inception. Indians are the biggest, most racist, most devious and most clumsy terrorists ever...Americans be warned! Indians are coming for you (through their Muslim proxies, of course) as they want to be the world power by fleecing america to death. Take a Bow -- Excellent Citizens of Pakistan ! You really will make the world proud ! With citizens like this -- what hope does that country have. And don't forget -- this is the EDUCATED class. I am not even talking about their 70% Illiterate Mass!
rabinjackman Posted May 4, 2010 Posted May 4, 2010 they really do believe it, must be their information media which is spreading these ummm theories or fantasies :cantstop:
seedhi Posted May 4, 2010 Author Posted May 4, 2010 The guy's an American, his background doesn't matter. Although let me state what these sort of events lead to. What u'll have is more aid flow in .. not just the general economic aid (which is good if its meant for the common man of Pakistan) but direct military assistance. Ever heard of the need of the latest F-16 blk 52s for fighting the Taliban ? Or the Navy Corvettes and missile frigates ? The Orion naval surveillance aircraft to ensure the safety of future Kasabs ? I know USA is vital for India's economy but blatantly arming our enemy with high tech weaponry free of cost on the pretext of the war on terror simply worsens the scenario for us. Expect the arrogance to continue, "we are willing to cooperate with u on the terrorism issue on our own terms, but may nuke u if u target our charity organizations and their playgrounds".US aid to pakistan amounts to around 2-2.5 bn dollars a year. It is hardly enough to prop up a 180 million population country like pakistan which is internally imploding. Its army is fighting a civil war, its being bombed by drones and suicide bombing is the national passtime. Yes, the military aid should worry us because some of the weapons are lethal. But the negative image of pakistan precludes any investment, developmental growth and economic progress. I again reiterate, pakistan should not be given weapons by the USA, but those weapons might be of little use when the country itself is collapsing from the inside.

Mamu Posted May 4, 2010 Posted May 4, 2010 I have to say that pakistan is a GIGANTIC mental asylum' date= the biggest in the history of mankind. If it was just that -- I wouldnt have had any issues. Pakistan is the SINGLE BIGGEST THREAT TO THE EXISTENCE OF MANKIND. Unfortunately India with its piss-poor security infrastructure will bear the brunt of this.

Unfortunately India with its piss-poor security infrastructure will bear the brunt of this.Just 2 days ago a pakistani trained LeT man was arrested from Hyderabad for planning to bomb the Deloitte office there. He apparently worked as a driver in that office. Man, imagine the implications if such an attack is ever successful.
asterix Posted May 4, 2010 Posted May 4, 2010 That hellhole needs to be purged..The hellhole has not made a single contribution to the mankind...
saurabh2602 Posted May 4, 2010 Posted May 4, 2010 couldnt agree more with the posts on this thread... but what worries me even more is that some of our own indian friends / brothers (n i dnt mean muslims, i mean hindus too) say that they r not all bad.... only a few r misled.... lets try to make peace with them...... bla bla..... geez.... gimme a break....
Lurker Posted May 4, 2010 Posted May 4, 2010 Who cares?? Pakistanis will keep their heads buried in sand and deem it as a conspiracy by everyone else except looking at themselves. United States will keep cajoling Pakistan in the fantasy of "modernizing" it as also keep a close watch on Nuclear Weapons. India will keep using this issue, as it has for 30 years, without any results..or without any world power listening to us going "Yeah they have been right for over 3 decades now". Life goes on. Unfortunately.

It is only prolonging pakistan's torture and the suspense for the rest of us. Our goal is just to see we dont suffer any more 26/11's or Pune'10s till the inevitable collapse of pakistan. This may be a very dim view of pakistan, but I believe that pakistan has reached the stage of terminal paranoia which is now irreversible.
straight.drive Posted May 4, 2010 Posted May 4, 2010 One has to read the comments that follow the article. There seems to be a great resentment among the westerners on pakistanis. Naturally, as an Immigrant, you should work hard to contribute to the host country's economy. Bombing and maiming your hosts does not help your case.

Pakistan has already collapsed, if not like a heap of cards. The problem is with each worsening days the local populace is only getting a bit more weirder. Maybe it is a sense of helplessness, maybe a total lack of faith in their own country and politicians, maybe a total disillusionment about life in general but you can easily detect a sense of deniablity that is utterly foolish considering modern day media that is not merely local but global and 24*7 access to everyone. Me thinks with collapse it would only provide more foot soldiers.
Pak_Fan_4_Eva Posted May 4, 2010 Posted May 4, 2010 Read the "70 Jawans killed...." thread .... just the last post on that thread if you dont have time to read the entire thing. Thank God a group of Indians Muslims were sane enough and got a country of their own.:two_thumbs_up: I still find it hard to understand how Muslims manage to coexist with Hindus in your part of the world? :S With the widespread animosity against them and not to mention of a large no. of REALLY VIOLENT incidents, i`m extremely sorry to say but they`re dumb. :((
Clarke Posted May 4, 2010 Posted May 4, 2010 The suspect in the failed Times Square car bombing has admitted involvement in what authorities have now labeled "a terrorist plot," Attorney General Eric Holder said Tuesday. Faisal Shahzad, a 30-year-old Pakistani-American, was arrested around 11:45 p.m. ET Monday at New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport moments before he was to fly to Pakistan via Dubai. He is to appear in federal court in Manhattan later Tuesday. "It is clear that this was a terrorist plot," Holder said. It could have caused "death and destruction in the heart of New York City." Shahzad was on board Emirates Airlines Flight 202 to Dubai, United Arab Emirates, when the plane was called to return to the gate, a law enforcement source said. Shahzad was booked through to Islamabad, Pakistan, via Dubai, a senior airline official confirmed. http://edition.cnn.com/2010/CRIME/05/04/new.york.car.bomb/index.html?hpt=T1
gs Posted May 4, 2010 Posted May 4, 2010 This is another zionist conspiracy :hitler: Yeah, the "cost of fighting someone else's war" :hitler:

This situation cannot be sustained, pakistan cannot be sustained any longer. It is like a patient with terminal cancer, the US aid (drug) can only prolong agony but cant prevent the inevitable. The aftermath is debatable, but I expect a civil war in which they will be busy slaughtering each other. The nukes would be removed from there much before by the US + others.
seedhi Posted May 4, 2010 Author Posted May 4, 2010 By the way, pakistani govt has arrested the relatives of this man in Karachi. Now that was quick. Look at what India had to undergo just to get pakistan to admit that Ajmal Kasab was a pakistani. Shows the huge gap b/w US and India to influence pakistan to act, at least publicly.
