Is it wise for Zak to be playing T20?

Zak also did well in IPL this time round .. but every T20 competition is nearly tukka .. if you perform well in IPL it does not mean you will do at another competition .. I would say any promising youngster should be given chance .. IPL would be a benefit though it does not guarantee good performance .. that is why I am rooting for Umesh Yadav rather than Vinay Kumar though he did not bowl that great in IPL compared to VK .. his pace will be more handy and he has got that extra pace needed to create a speedstar .. there are hundreds of Vinay Kumars at intl. level and with his pace he will be taken for a ride by top teams

Actually KUmar bros sucked big time in the IPL in terms of economy. Also his wickets were result of Steyn bowling very well. Dinda mixed the pace very well. Trivedi also bowled very well most of the times except the occasion where Sachin mauled him.

Indeed, who cares about T20s...would love to see the core players not play- but its easy enough to ask em to drop out, with all the money involved theyll kick up a fuss. Unless theres some sort of 'compensation'... esp for a WC tourno where all the other main players are there. The pt holds esp true for the pacemen, Ishant is very unlikely to play T20 cricket for India anytime soon anyway. zaheer should retire from the format. Then after the ODI WC from those too...the pool of players ID'd is a good enough bunch...
