Ano2 Posted May 10, 2010 Posted May 10, 2010 I have been stalking this forum for a long time, almost three years. The member counts have increased and also the abuse level has shot-up. Anyways, coming to Sachin and the current Indian players, and the discussion: 1. How long can we avoid the inevitable? Better to be found out now, and work on our shortcomings than get trashed latter in all the formats when the seniors retire. I do not think Sachin drank the magic potion and will play for ever. 2. Sachin is a player and not a solution to whatever technical problems that the young ones have or the team is facing. The young lot have to fix their problems, and be good enough to represent India. Today, they have to be the match winners, and not Sachin -- ironically, according to many he never was one. 3. IPL and why not WC. It's his personal choice and we all make one for our own benefits. He retired from international T20 duty good three years back, why ask him to turn back the clock now. At 37 and after 20 years, he has the right to decide. 4. Yes, we lost again, and glad that we lost on bouncy pitches. If any of the young players want to play a long innings, they'll start working on their batting techniques. If not, we will keep losing again and it won't matter, like the early nineties. ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
King Tendulkar Posted May 10, 2010 Posted May 10, 2010 Well just look at your post! So much swearing and abusing a fellow poster without any provocations. It just shows your class as a person and as an admin and moderator. :two_thumbs_up: Anyways, you still havent replied as to what's wrong with that post? Mr Wicket is a first class hypocrite. As they say power corrupts.
Ranjha Posted May 10, 2010 Posted May 10, 2010 Mr Wicket is a first class hypocrite. As they say power corrupts. Agree +++++. Just after reading his posts...No personal experience.
King Tendulkar Posted May 10, 2010 Posted May 10, 2010 Agree +++++. Just after reading his posts...No personal experience. I might be wrong though! He may have been corrupt before:hysterical:
EnterTheVoid Posted May 10, 2010 Posted May 10, 2010 But you can understand why he may be upset, the venom directed against Tendulkar however he performs is just sickening.

If you can't argue as a civilized person, refrain from the discussion...There are kids, ladies, families reading this forum...
zubinpepsi Posted May 10, 2010 Posted May 10, 2010 i think tendulkar lovers cant take the fact tht someone is questioning him.. they get their panties in twist and get all defensive.... I am glad he isnt playing T20.. but how anyone can justify the fact tht him playing IPL is ok... but not T20WC.. wat a hypocrisy.....
Sachinism Posted May 10, 2010 Posted May 10, 2010 It's pathetic when people are blaming someone who has stopped playing the international format for 3 years. For all the idiots, had Sachin being less than err Godly in the last concluded IPL, would you be complaining? Idiotic attention seekers who don't waste an opportunity to have a go at Sachin, because they'd grab some attention which in Their sorry lives can't otherwise. Well, Sachin plays a bit of forehand during his tennis practise as well. He should play the Davis Cup, the Wimbledon, and the French Open as well. Surely if he can hold a racket and hit a fore hand he must be able to play Federer and Nadal, surely. He's also capable of lasting an our and half, hitting a ball with a stick and running as well. Surely he should play in our hockey team as well, na? How dare he didn't play for 2 weeks in our Hockey World cup when he easily played 6 weeks of IPL? Don't get worked up mate. Its the same bunch of n00bs who are constantly whining. They'll label him a choker, claim he never wins games for India, but they see an Indian side without him and they realise how mediocre the team actually is and they start blaming him for the loss because he didn't play, but they forgot he probably would have choked anyway. so whats the point. Its a bunch of sad people who constantly need something to whinge and whine about
Sachinism Posted May 10, 2010 Posted May 10, 2010 Indeed you should be sorry for dragging Sachin into this, Dinx the Jinx. Far from T20 matches being talked about in a few decades we dont even know if this format will exist in a few decades. It is an infant basically. Cant tell too much now. Trust me that attention ***** is not sorry at all. Check out some of his past threads (read crap) -- If Goddy played it would just have masked the inability of the others. How much longer is he going to carry the team. I really hope he takes up the team coach role because these guys would be clueless by the looks of it
Gunner_Mania Posted May 10, 2010 Posted May 10, 2010 I seriously can't believe the level of whining on this board on a freaking T20 loss.which to be fair we knew we were goign to be gobshyte at after the endless IPL. Seriously, I thought the Bangbros were the worst fans followed by the other neighbours, but some of ours just take the cake. Keep on opening endless new threads from its the selectors fault, to a retired player did not play to the sun rose in the east to y fan didnt wear blue colour panties for the game. Accept it we have a bunch of over paid under performing players selected by a board.
Precambrian Posted May 10, 2010 Posted May 10, 2010 i think tendulkar lovers cant take the fact tht someone is questioning him.. they get their panties in twist and get all defensive.... I am glad he isnt playing T20.. but how anyone can justify the fact tht him playing IPL is ok... but not T20WC.. wat a hypocrisy..... Why don't you raise the same issue against Kumble, Dravid, Ganguly etc? Why are you targeting Sachin alone? And dude, you think playing in IPL is of same difficulty level as playing in International t20? You're delusional if you think so. Where were your allegations when India were winning t20 after t20 in 07 and 08? How come suddenly Sachin has become an indispensable commodity in a format which he hasn't played at the highest level since 06-07? You are the fun reeking with hypocrisy. Instead of finding fault with the 15 idiots who travelled to West Indies, and the idiots who chose them, you simply decided to get yourself some attention by targeting someone who has got nothing to do with the team for over 4 years. And further you blame him as if his presence in the team could've just like that won us the Cup. Well, fact that despite him doing his best Mumbai Indians haven't won IPL in 3 years, and that India won a bloody World cup without him suggests otherwise. Please now go to your hole and continue your throwing your darts at Sachin's poster. Because that's the maximum guys like you can do to him. Shameless and full of ingratitude.
zubinpepsi Posted May 10, 2010 Posted May 10, 2010 yes:hehe: :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical: ok..

Its a bunch of sad people who constantly need something to whinge and whine about You got to appreciate the Australian fans and their admin in that regard. In 07, they lost their most valuable players like Mcgrath, Warne, followed by Gilly and Hayden. And still they continued to play in IPL. All this while when Aussies were getting their ass whooped in t20s. Yet, nobody whined about these guys, because they realised the value of service these guys have done to Aus cricket, and had the brains to understand the truth that IPL or no IPL, they're done, and Aussie cricket won't be going anywhere if it continued to live in past and moan about that. They instead promoted new players, like Watson, Hughes, warner, Nannes, Hauritz etc. They may not have provided instant results but in the last year or so have become the new stable faces of Aussie cricket. The difference between us and them is that they respect and admire their heroes, but they also understand that they are also human beings. With us, it's just extremes. We worship them when they perform and burn their effigy and stone their houses when they don't. We are so fickle minded that it would put a 16 year old girl to shame.

Precambrian Posted May 10, 2010 Posted May 10, 2010 Also Sachin can do what he wishes to do. He may continue to play in IPL or Big Bash, or gully cricket as long as he pleases. It's a decision independent of his career in International cricket. See Warne, Mcgrath, Hayden etc. BCCI is not paying him for IPL ffs. Can't believe there are idiots who can't distinguish between International world cup matches and glorified corporate tournaments. ****.
