Dhoni rightly as got plenty of criticism for his selection of players and tactics but surely Gary Kirsten need to take an equal share of the blame? He must be giving advice on players, tactics and strategy and thus in my mind questions have to be asked about his performance. Under Kirsten the record in international tournaments is frankly pathetic and lessons it appears are not being learnt from the now increasingly long list of defeats. Should Kirsten still be the Indian coach?

Does not matter who the coach is...we will suffer outside of the subcontinent. We don't have bowlers to give practice to our batsmen...let alone bowl against an international side. The selectors are to be blamed.

nobody needs to go india is the top test team and 2nd ranked in ODIs but things do need to change with dhoi's ordinary captaincy and pathetic team selection

It depends if we are aiming to be the best in the world in T20 or in Tests I think if we are looking to be good in all three, Kirsten has done a great, it just our players are ignorant, lazy and unwilling to learn. The exact same thing happened last year, we lost all the matches mainly because of the short pitched bowling.
