Well here's my take... Ind played 4 matches against regular test playing nations and won 1 game out of 4. Pak played 5 games against regular test nations (i.e. excluding B'desh) and won 1 out of 5! That means India's success rate of 25% is still better than that of Pak (20%) against decent opponents :haha:

We played better cricket against all of the teams than India despite us losing most of them. The semi final match really did it though, we played the best when it really mattered unfortunately we fell a bit too short and Hussey took it all away from us.

What a match it was yesterday. I'll give Pak all the credit in the world. They excelled in the department which was and still is their major weakness - batting. For them to score 190+ against the Aussies would be equivalent to us restricting the Aussies under 120 with our bowling attack. Pak fans need not be disappointed, their team were superb yesterday, but the Aussies were better (mainly due to Hussey). All in all, a wonderful match.

Well done to Pakistan- great effort indeed by them, if it wasn't for Hussey they would be in the final, no doubt. I actually don't think there is another player in the game who could have done what he did (at least not given the circumstances). I think we can all agree though, that we have a worthy final. If it's anything like this game, we are in for a cracker. Also Paki fans, keep your head up high, should be proud of your teams efforts in this match.

With a side of no-hopers that barely managed to scrape through beyond super eight and playing against a side that has looked head and shoulders above all opposition, Pakistan managed to be on top for 37 of the 40 overs. If that is not something to applaud, I am at a loss to find what is. Yes, in the end they lost a game they seemed to have in the bag but for that Australia and Hussey deserve more credit than the brick bats being showered on Pakistan. Have a heart boys. If India had done this well we may have been heart broken but not disgraced as we were when India's campaign finally ended. Be graceful and give the devil its due. Well played Pakistan. I never thought they would come so close to beating Australia - never.

Exactly, it was a special innings from Hussey. I think he deserves more credit than he's being given
