Imagine them having Bollinger too !! I rate that guy above any of their current bowling resources !! Evenon Indian pitches he outbowled Harris, Nannes, Tait, Watson comfortably.

People from other countries cant even imagine how seriously players take sports in this country and cricket is not even the top sport here. These players are professional about it and they always know that the moment they dont perform, they will be replaced.

I thought cricket was Australia's national game, isn't it?

Yes, Hussey was otherworldly yesterday. But no, the Aussies are not unbeatable. If the results on 2 or 3 balls were to have been different yesterday, Pakistan would have won. In fact it should have won. Ajmal wanted to fool Hussey by bowling length. He thought Hussey might set himself up for the yorker on the legs. Hussey was clear-headed. He played the ball on merit. No predetermination. Mark of a proper batsman. A slogger would never have stood a chance against Ajmal. But to believe that Australians are unbeatable would be naive. They were very much beatable yesterday. I will not be surprised if they are beaten in the finals by England. A lot will depend on how Bresnan goes with the new ball. If the Aussies collar him, then they will have to use more of Yardy and Wright and that might work against them.

He doesn produce the same macho when he plays for CSK:whack: Has it got something to do with the absence of pakis in IPL:hmmm:

More than subcontinent teams, one team that can learn from Australia is South Africa. Look how ruthlessly they dismantle the oppositions at crucial stages. South Africa does the opposite. Tamely surrender despite having pretty much the same kind of talent.

Adam Gilchrist and Justin Langer :two_thumbs_up: They slaughtered Pak in Test Now, Superman hussey does it in T20 OZ :hail:
ya thats a great comparison, hobart test again was a example of pakistan snatching defeat from jaws of victory like yesterday

They have lost their numero uno status about 2 years back. The whole Aus **** job here is incredible. Yes,they did admirably well in this tournament. But don't forget they were nowhere in the last two tours. They are the best in ODIs and now perhaps T20s should they win the finals. But as long as they can't do in tests, (winning closely against World. No.8s and 7 isn't doing) they have a big point to prove, this current lot.

Il Principalalo - :haha: why would Hussey be so commited to CSK and IPL garbage. Rightly this is the Intl tournament where he is peaking. On the contrary, FTBs like Yusuf Pathan will turn it on in I.Pu.L and then choke in Indian team (but at least YKP does do something in IPL, Yuseless only does partying nowadays!)

I think Hussey did play well at the top for CSK in the first edition. He genuinely struggled in the IPL. Even Ian chappell was surprised at his assault. May be it got something to do with utterly crap bowling :cantstop:

Well - I am glad it turned out the way I thought. For long I have figured that the Aussies are playing more from memory now. In a season or two I fully expect them to step down several notches and be no more the team that we are all used to.
