nballa Posted May 17, 2010 Posted May 17, 2010 Our culture/language/food and every other aspect of hindustan is being taken over by the american way of life. we are being molded. we are getting americanized at such a rapid rate that 50 yrs from now the country will be called east america. is is a good thing or a bad thing? i think its good. discuss.
dial_100 Posted May 17, 2010 Posted May 17, 2010 That will never happen. While some people are changing there is a fundamental thing that will be difficult to change. We had angrez for 150 years. So not that we haven't seen that before. Anyways, yes we are changing at quite a rapid pace but thats because divide was to big we will come to the point and settle there. As always, we adopt unlike other cultures.
punjabi_khota Posted May 17, 2010 Posted May 17, 2010 I am here in america indianising the land of uncle Sam, if you know what I mean :woot: Now that I think is good. :yay:

Jadoo Posted May 17, 2010 Posted May 17, 2010 It's called Globalisation my friend, we live in a world that is not as far away as our ealier generations have thought. Planes, telephones, internet, commerce etc, have brought the world much more closer. So what if there are McDonald's and Pizza Hut's in India, is doesn't mean Indian food is going to die. So what if people in India choose to speak with an American accent, it doesn't mean that our regional languages are no longer going to be spoken. I can say that with confidence because I have not been born nor bread in India, yet I cannot be satisfied with burgers and chips especially after having a few glassi's. And no matter how much of a coconut you are, you will never forget your culture and tradition.
punjabi_khota Posted May 17, 2010 Posted May 17, 2010 wtf do we keep troll-baiting this maddaguddi-days loving ISI-paki agent nballa ? :hmmmm2:
