Is this a serious post? Looks like a joke. Since when did it become a requirement for 3 batsmen to get centuries. How often do 3 batsmen get centuries in ODI's (or has it ever happened)?

or for a batsman to score 150+ we would love to see some big scores like 183* not just 105 or 120 like in T20

Dude.. reducing overs and playing is not thinking out of the box. We had 60 overs One dayer.. then it became 55 overs. Then it became 50 overs... then it became 20 overs. They are not thinking out of the box. Merely reducing or increasing the overs don't mean thinking out of the box. But those were done to manage the time. But to facilitate other countries you don't go around and mess up the format. Do you see football being reduce to 1 minute game just to faciliate other countries? How about 2 meter race to help India :cantstop: .

They are not thinking out of the box. Merely reducing or increasing the overs don't mean thinking out of the box. But those were done to manage the time. You are right. I think 11 players in each team is too many players. We should play a 5 players only. That way bowler will chance of taking all 5 wickets and more batsmen will have chance of hitting 200 in each match.

OK you edited it. Anyways since we've established it's not necessary for a team to have 2-3 centurions or whatever. How exactly will 35 overs help less cricketing nations? What does your proposed format do apart from scripting matches? There are way too many restrictions in terms of which bowlers they can use. Its completely changed cricket, but not in a positive way. Teams would need to go in with at least 2 spinners to get through spinplay :haha: What if a team wants to use spinners earlier to restrict a certain batsman and then they don't have enough spin overs for spinplay?
