Why India doesn't invite WI and NZ to

play test series in India ? India have played only 1 test series(3 match) against WI at home in last 15 years and 1 test series( 2 match) against NZ at home last decade. Why so many test series with Australia ?

Very tough question. BCCI owns SL, ECB bankrolls WI.

England vs WI will be stopping for a while now after WI accepted to play in place of SL last year. SL vs Ind just looks like going on and on.

India and SL will not play any more tests at least till 2012 once the upcoming test series is over. SL in SL-3, Aus in India (likely)-2, NZ in Ind -3, SAin SA-3, WI in WI -4, Eng in Eng-4, WI(in India)-3, Aus in Aus-4, Pakistan in India( if things improve)-3, these are the 29 tests we are scheduled to play in the next 2 years (subject to BCCI's whims and fancies).

Its easier to fit in Sri Lanka in India's busy cricket schedule due to proximity - players can go there after breakfast and come back home for dinner :) . The more important reason (in comparison to Windies) is the money to be made from TV commercials. Sponsors love the over-lapping time zones between us and Sri Lanka. It is perfect and what counts most with BCCI . . . . ????
