achilles Posted June 7, 2010 Posted June 7, 2010 1 IPL promoted him to the big league. 2 failures and seems like he's gone for a while. Do you see him coming back? Or is he finished already?
f2000560 Posted June 7, 2010 Posted June 7, 2010 no will comeback ! just needs to work on bowling pace isn't everything use his head a lot more. specially given how bad our bowling stocks are i am sure he will get another chance soon enough but maybe not until the world cup is over.
Sachinism Posted June 7, 2010 Posted June 7, 2010 Well he'll be forgotten if he only manages average performances in domestic cricket. If he's kicking ass there, then he won't be forgotten
Ahmed Posted June 7, 2010 Posted June 7, 2010 you can not write off a player after one failure. He needs to work harder and he needs to make the right friends in the decision making departments. He can ask Jadeja for tips for the latter.
King Tendulkar Posted June 7, 2010 Posted June 7, 2010 No. This kid has a future imo. He could turn out be real good speedster in the future. I have been quite impressed with what I have seen so far. He would benefit so much from a county stint!
ZodiaC Posted June 7, 2010 Posted June 7, 2010 I have been quite impressed with what I have seen so far. And what is that, exactly?
achilles Posted June 7, 2010 Author Posted June 7, 2010 I am not writing him off. We as people generally do, after a few bad series. I don't want the same to happen to him and I wanna see who agrees with me. And what is that' date=' exactly?[/quote'] His pace.
achilles Posted June 7, 2010 Author Posted June 7, 2010 He would benefit so much from a county stint! He should get one na. They've not even sent PC this time. :((
King Tendulkar Posted June 7, 2010 Posted June 7, 2010 He should be flown out immediatley to join the A tour now. Seriously fly him out tommorow now he has not made Asia squad!
Jadoo Posted June 7, 2010 Posted June 7, 2010 Needs to develop some variations, a season in English county cricket will not do him any harm as well. But definately still has a future. With our stock we cannot ignore anyone, even Sir Aggy.
ZodiaC Posted June 7, 2010 Posted June 7, 2010 His pace. Oh, coz a few times he clocked 140+? Even dinda does that, what's so special about him? Or did i miss somethin'?

Serious natural strength and pace. Loads of potential! With right guidance could be very good

The Outsider Posted June 7, 2010 Posted June 7, 2010 Looks like Tyagi got injured in the game against Yorkshire. Yadav should be sent as a replacement instead of Mithun. He is not ready for international cricket yet, but with experience can develop into a good bowler. Needs to develop a delivery which holds it's line in addition to his stock in coming delivery and he can be very handy. It's not that we have any bench strength worth a mention, so it's important to make the best of what we have.
saneindian Posted June 8, 2010 Posted June 8, 2010 Both Yadav and Mithun should be sent to England now. So what if there will be 16 players on tour. The rich BCCI can afford that.
bhajji Posted June 8, 2010 Posted June 8, 2010 yeah i too think he has been completely vanished and not be reminded by anyone!!
