Brainfade Posted June 10, 2010 Posted June 10, 2010 in the interview given by him in post #1 in the latest interview given by him in post #17 so is he talking abt just one match .. :giggle: He has the talent and aggression to be a great bowler, but his narcissistic streak is holding him back. Come on, Sreesanth, take some lessons in focus and humility from the likes of Dravid, Sehwag and Tendulkar.
hari504504 Posted June 10, 2010 Posted June 10, 2010 Dramakumaran Sreesanth: http://cricket.rediff.com/report/2010/jun/10/sreesanth-not-to-represent-kerala-in-ranji-trophy.htm Knowing nothing more, it seems like KCA factions are using Sreesanth as a pawn in their ego matches. Not really...during the last Ranji season preparatory camp..Sreesanth skipped ALL of it and apparently showed up 2 days before their first match. He was apparently "dancing" in different colleges in Kerala-being a celebrity guest for their functions - being a minor celebrity and all. His reasoning was that = "I don't need to attend some camp to keep fit, I maintain it myself". Justifies them removing him from captaincy 100%. Fair enough - He's the fittest and fastest bowler in our line-up by a country mile. But not a very NICE gesture though. But who has heard of NICE fast bowlers. He needs to be in the line-up especially when Ishant is completely out of the radar and Zaheer is struggling.

You, Don Bradman? I bowl at you man, I kill you. I split you in two!". And he was serious!. Humilitiy doesn't suit a fast bowler. He need not be humble or anything..just do his job as a bowler...bowl with a little more accuracy consistently and he will be a regular fixture in all formats.

As long as our bowlers get some wickets I don't care if he stares down a batsman after getting hit for four 6s. He is the only one who looks threatening these days... Please NO to 'humble' Dindas and Yadavs

achilles Posted June 10, 2010 Posted June 10, 2010 Sreesanth is India's ONLY genuine Fast Bowler, who can pick wickets, glare and stare, get under the oppositions' skins and take the fight back to them. I see NOTHING wrong in his histrionics. All he needs to do is sledge a bit smartly and keep a smile on his face. Sreesanth needs to understand he is sledging the opposition, not himself.

King Tendulkar Posted June 10, 2010 Posted June 10, 2010 :hysterical: Everyone has flip flopped and demanding his inclusion in the team:hysterical: Where were you chumps when I was pleading for his inclusion in the team? Instead when I stated as such that he was a must, I got slaughtered and so did Sree! Good to see everyone has seen the light!:winky:
hari504504 Posted June 10, 2010 Posted June 10, 2010 Patrick Patterson to Bradman :hmmm: Is this a different Patterson from the one that played for West Indies? Didnt he play in 1980s? that is the one..the only bowler King Viv admits he was mortally afraid of..and they were in the same team This was when a long retired Bradman (in his 60s i think) visited the Windies dressing room during the windies tour down under..everyone stood-up and greeted and shook hands with him except ONE..and only... Well this incident actually ends with Bradman winning the battle with his famous quip "you can't even get Merv Hughes out !"(He had scored 50 odd not out I think.)... but its the audacity/arrogance(lack of humility) of Patterson that is our focus here..

He need not be humble or anything..just do his job as a bowler...bowl with a little more accuracy consistently and he will be a regular fixture in all formats. I am talking about the humility to listen to good advice, be introspective, identify one's physical and mental problems, honor the sport and channel one's aggression to a single end - taking wickets. I am not as articulate as Bhogle, so I will quote him here (BTW, his article was written about Yuvraj Singh): Contrary to some thought, humility and confidence are not oil and water, they are not immiscible. Being humble doesn't mean being weak, it is merely accepting that some things need to be corrected and going out and doing that.
imran666 Posted June 12, 2010 Posted June 12, 2010 Sreesanth is a good bowlers ..the only problem with him is his anger ..batsmens just need to hit him for a couple of bondrys ..after that hes all over the place
cowboysfan Posted June 12, 2010 Posted June 12, 2010 i think we should pick him for the test match squad.he has shown that he can turn the match around if he is on his game.
