Its age' date=' natural decline, the fact that he is till competing after 1000ish matches and 16 or whatever slams is amazing in itself. No shame in losing to an in form world no 4 who's 5 years younger to you in 5 sets.[/quote'] ‘I know I can beat anybody on any given day and dominate any tournament. I’d love to leave behind records that could stay unbroken for as long as possible.’ This is what cocky and arrogant Federer said before the start of last Wimbledon. He would do well to accept the fact there are few other talented players out there who at their best can send him packing easily. That's exactly what Djokovic did yesterday :two_thumbs_up:

Lol at out of form. You don't reach quater finals of every tournament or to the 2nd last rounds if you are out of form. He is still in brilliant form. He always is. Pretty consistent. Just that his game has definately dropped from what he had before, how he used to convert and make some great comebacks when he was down and out in a particular set or game. So against great players who end up reaching in 4th round or meet him in quaters, they make full use of that. It works in first few rounds. Still, yes, still Federer is one of the best, and one of the favorites to win any tournament which he is takes part in. Such is the strenght of this player.

One of the best victories of Djokovic's career. Does the unthinkable..dominated Rafa on clay and defeated him in straight sets! Take a bow :hatsoff:

The Djoker Played superbly today :hatsoff: He has improved his game tremendously in the last few months and is now a serious challenger to both Federer and Nadal

Many people had similarly written off Goddy post the 2007 WC.........now see how he has come back. Andre Agassi made a spectacular comeback and won the French Open at the age of 31. Federer is still very, very good and he will win at least one Grand Slam this year.

Great for Tennis that Djok has come through like this. Just wish some of the others pulled their socks up just to ratchet up the competition- particularly Soderling on clay and Murray at Wimb...

Djokovic again defeated Rafa in straight sets, this time at Rome Masters :omg: His winning streak extends to 37 matches in 2011 (39-0 overall) !! This is the best win-loss ratio going in to French Open in the open era!!! :hatsoff:
