A win is a win. And it's a tournament final which we are supposed to lose. I cant see how anyone can think it does not matter. And why is Aisa cup not considered not special? Four test playing teams come from Aisa and we are the champions among them.

Satisfying or not, a tournament final win is much needed for India to boost the morale of the team.,What else we should have done,loosing one more final to Lanka,so that the detractors can proclaim Indians lost another final. The excitement level is low because of the soccer world cup.

One can't prove themselves against an opponent that is weaker than them, so in that sense, India are in a lose - lose situation. If you win, than people go, you're expected to win so no big achievement. If you lose, than people ask how come you lost to a weak opponent. 4 Test Playing Teams - Having Bangladesh just dilute the competitiveness of the competition and Pakistan are just a crap team. So really, it was India v Sri Lanka. Aren't we fed up of playing SL ?
