Yep, that's been the tragedy. A career full of unfulfilled promises. Plus that also speaks volumes about the inability of those who have got chances in his place to score big and seal that spot. The thing with Yuvraj is, his ODI performances will always keep him in line for a spot in the test side till he is 32-33. Imagine him playing a few blazing ODI innings, can the selectors/team management really afford to keep him out of the test side specially when the others who have got a chance at that no 6 in the test team haven't really made big scores?

i dnt think many players got that many chances...it was dada's place or if someone was injured, then he played...he too could not play test matches consistently.....how could he be developed as a test player when he was chosen in 15 and neither he was in 11 and nor he was playing first class cricket at the same time...that time was wasted for him...he was drafted in the indian team too early that he was good enough to play shorter versions bt till that time..he couldn't develop hsi technique to play longer version...it is not his fault...our board and selectors never thought about that situation...
