Enjoying a totally commercial free broadcast of the game right now on TEN. Even the ground doesn't have a single advert painted on the grass! Apparently the MCC is sponsoring the whole series under the "Spirit of Cricket" banner. All the boundary boards around the ground are advert-free and only have the MCC Logo saying "Play hard, play fair". (Good luck getting the message through to Pwnting and the Pakis.) Heck of a game so far with the ball moving around a fair bit, a good contest between bat and ball, and some pretty solid commentary (Ramiz Raja is the only downside, but there don't seem to be any other Paki commentators thankfully with the likes of Gower, Warne and Holding making it quite enjoyable).

Is it just me or do the video feeds from UK / England look more clearer, crispier and in general sharper than those by Bangladesh, India, Sri Lanka and Pakistan ? Also, no vuvuzelas or incessant trumping, blowing of horns to distract us from the game :proud:

Loved watching an exciting day of test cricket after a long time. Couldn't watch the whole match, but caught most of it. The conditions were great for fast bowling and the Pakistani fast bowlers were brilliant. I will enjoy the rest of this series.

The conditions were perfect. I am not sure they will find such conditions again. Then I have a feeling their batsmen will also fall short of the mark. The 200+ the Aussies have might prove too much for Pakistan. The Akmal brothers have to fire if Pakistan wants to make a match of this.
