That argument of Aamer is a bachaa, so he should be treated a little leniently doesn't hold any merit. This is not the first time I've seen him deliberately do this, mofo's made this some sort of a habit. Aamer's cricketing collisions: Ponting's pushy pout?

Pakistani pace bowler Mohammad Aamer may want to be more circumspect about his wicket-taking celebration routine. In the first test match between his side and the Australians at Lords today, the youthful left-arm pacer was involved in a collision with Aussie captain Ricky Ponting, after participating in the star batsman’s dismissal. As former West Indian fast bowling great, Michael Holding noted, commentating for Sky Sport, this is the second on-field collision with an Australian player that Aamer has been involved in recently. Aamer ran into the Aussie one-day captain Michael Clarke after dismissing him in a recent 20/20 match. That incident though, seemed more innocent, as Aamer immediately apologized for his distraction. This collision though could land Aamer or Pointing – or both men - in a bit of trouble, depending on how television replays of the incident are interpreted. Pointing was out after he flicked an 86.4 mile per hour delivery from Aamer into the path of Umar Amin, fielding at silly mid-on. Amin held on to the blinder instinctively. It was an “unbelievable catch”, as Australian spin-bowling icon Shane Warne, also commentating for Sky remarked. An exuberant Aamer then raced down the pitch, running close to and colliding with Ponting, who had just turned to make his way back to the Australian dressing room. Warne was apparently the first to notice that something had gone wrong. “I don’t think Ricky Ponting’s happy,” he said, adding “I think the bowler was celebrating and as everyone was celebrating – was a clash of elbows.” However, as a slow motion television replay showed Ponting leaning into the path of Aamer and extending his elbow in an arguably provocative manner, Warne apparently abandoned his initial assessment. Interrupting the flow of his commentary mid-sentence, the spectacular spin veteran mused “Mm. I’ll have another little look at that one!” After the second replay though, it was the West Indian pace-bowling icon Holding who spoke initially - Warne perhaps embarassed, and momentarily lost for words to explain the Aussie captain's conduct. “Well, well,” said holding “Think arguments will continue as to who created that clash; who was the instigator of that clash!” Finding his voice again, as the incident was replayed a third time, Warne noted that Aamer too had raised his elbow. However, this could easily be interpreted as a defensive gesture. Warne, perhaps seeking to make allowances for Ponting’s conduct, then asked Holding about cricketers getting physical in their dressing rooms during his era. Holding was somewhat accommodating, conceding that this happened on “a few occasions”. However he also made clear his view that “the playing field wasn’t really the place to be having any physical contact with the opposition.” Viewing the television replay a fourth time, and noting that Pointing seemed to be complaining to the umpire about the collision as he left the field, Holding said “I don’t think he has anything to complain about there.” Apparently concluding that Ponting's conduct was an instictive, innocent assertion of his personal space, Holding said that by sticking his elbow out, Ponting “was just saying this is my space. I don’t need you in my space.” The veteran paceman finshed, "I don't see anything wrong with that." Aamer’s fans - and cricket fans around the world in general - will be curious to see if the match authorities agree with Holding's assessment. As for Aamer, he would do well to ensure that in the future the only collision he could be held responsible for, is the collision of a cricket ball with the stumps.

Im not questioning that. Im saying ponting cant be excused either for raising his elbow just because aamer pissed him off. I thought he would know better than that after playing for so long.
