yoda Posted July 21, 2010 Posted July 21, 2010 Can me tell me about a few such apps? How many of these apps are free? There are is even an app (for your iphone) which tells you which apps are free and which are on sale and it keeps showing the updated list. I know my wife has downloaded a gazillion free games. Here is a URL: http://iphoneapplicationlist.com/apps/
nospam Posted July 21, 2010 Posted July 21, 2010 Thanks. Can I also store the documents physically on the phone's memory and access then on quick office? you can transfer and access word documents locally using mobilestudio. not sure about quickoffice but i am assumming you can. (since you will be editing the word document the copy will be stored locally) I got the Iphone 3GS' date=' and honestly speaking, I would not trade it in for anything else. Only slight issue I had when I first got it was unlike BB, [b']the emails are not instant, and you have to physically go into you email account for it to load up you emails. what do you mean by it is not instant? what happens when you access mail app during offline mode? also is it imap or pop email account?

kabira Posted July 21, 2010 Posted July 21, 2010 well why spend a lot if your purpose is quick office. Any windows OS phone will do the job. I have HTC P3700 bought it 18 months back for only Rs. 10000. It has browsers, windows Live, outlook express, mobile office etc. I really love it it serves my purpose.

Quick office is not "the purpose". It's a condition, but certainly not "the purpose".

When it comes to apps and entertainment, there seriously is no competitor in the market that can match the Iphone. Dude Iphone has had push email since AGES. I have push email on my unlocked 3G. It's out of the box.. how can u not have it? Check your settings, you must have disabled it.
Guest Hiten. Posted July 22, 2010 Posted July 22, 2010 Dude Iphone has had push email since AGES. I have push email on my unlocked 3G. It's out of the box.. how can u not have it? Check your settings, you must have disabled it. Mail application that comes with iPhone does not let you set up an hotmail account for some odd reasons, so I dled this 3rd party app and that app does not push my email; like Jadoo I too have to manual update the inbox to check my new mails :dontknow: Btw, folks dl T20 super sixes....awesome game brahs :nice:
Ram Posted July 22, 2010 Posted July 22, 2010 Well, Apple reinvented the smart phone. So they’re always one curve ahead of the competition. But that said, owning an iPhone is no longer cool these days, since almost everyone has one. The whole point of owning a cool gadget is that you should stand out in a crowd, an iPhone no longer makes you do that.

Check your settings, you must have disabled it. Have checked dude, but nothing. I have other mates on the iphone who have the same issue.
