I think no other team than team India.. You can plan ahead. You can set deadines..Rest you leave everything on Team India. they will ensure that not only you achieve your records but your team wins too as a bonus.. PS: Don't accuse me of 'wrist slashing' etc..No personal attack on members please..

Always..India is one of the few teams which has record of losing atleast the 1st match in any series..I'm absolutely sure Murali knew this fact..

If this was the 90s, we would have been opening threads praising our batsmen for such a courageous effort, and there would have been no issues at all about the bowling. After all, a performance like this away from home in most of the 90s was above par - one opener actually making runs (a rarity then), Tendulkar looking strong in a losing cause (typical), impotent bowling for the most part with one aggressive pace bowler not being supported, and the tail actually showing some guts and fight on the fifth day (unhead of then).

Although it could be speculation but I'm pretty sure if any other top ranked team like SA or Australia (even with depleted attack) wouldn't have capitualted like this. Yes, it's one loss only but it's just not the loss..There is something more serious than just a loss..I'm more worried about the way of the loss and the attitude of few players.. I've been a stauch support of IPL and Modi. I've now seen the light. I'm now ashamed of myself defending IPL. I truely belive that IPL is destroying the upcoming cricketers and the present intermediate seniors..

Player's "injury" rate has increased now..At any given series, you will be lucky to have a full bench strength. That too will not ensure if the players are really willing to win or not. Many senior player just appear to be going through motions.. The drive to win is missing. Huge loads of filthy money is stashed in their banks.. Hence IMO opinion, if you plan properly, there's no better opponent than team India (in present day cricket) to get your desired results, upfront..
