dial_100 Posted July 23, 2010 Posted July 23, 2010 Aren't we proving that by staying there at #1... If Aussies can prove that they are #1, they should won enough game...I dont want to talk about #6 team anyway..We didn;t get there by losing man and we wont stay there if we lose either.
Manny_Pacquiao Posted July 23, 2010 Posted July 23, 2010 #1 means you are #1 in all aspects. Evening out will take you to #6 (Like we are now) :hysterical::hysterical: Brilliant. Lahori logic at its finest. and here i was, foolishly thinking that number 1 means that you are ranked number 1 by an impartial ranking system based on your previous performances in test series. silly me. 'evening out'....wtf :hysterical: perhaps pakis should invent their own ranking system to feel better about themselves. teams score points based on how phaaaaaasht the bowlers are, how much JAZBA AND JUNUN is displayed by 'beastly' batting like top edged hoicks in the air, and how many times the captain says bismullah rakhman rahim at post match interviews before mumbling a million excuses for why they lost.
dial_100 Posted July 23, 2010 Posted July 23, 2010 Having the best batting and the worst bowling doesnt balance out to number 1. I agree that India has the best batting line up in the world but you bowling is just terrible. And still we are #1. B-> Shame on other teams, easpecially Aus, SA, SL and ENG that they can't exploit and beat us in every game. But rather with this pathetic bowling line up we have taken 20 wkts so many times and didn't let the GREAT opposition bowlers to take our 20 wkts as many times. Fact of the matter is all the bowlers around the world suck. Check how many times they have taken India's 20 wkts in last 3 years. Only 7 times in the last 32 games (3 years) that we have lost all 20 wkts. So almost every 4 test that opposition could take 20 indian wkts. So what do you think about this.
Pak_Fan_4_Eva Posted July 23, 2010 Posted July 23, 2010 @ Manny .Dude are you mad? :S I was replying to dial_100`s post :S

dial_100 Posted July 23, 2010 Posted July 23, 2010 We will never have a Cherry eater in our team. I am sorry but thats very tough to achieve man. Does that mean we can never be # 1?? :omg:

Thats why India hardly lose, its pretty much impossible to bowl them out twice on a flat deck. But still I cant wait till you tour England again because that series win here was very lucky, I would certainly back england to beat India in england.

England hasn't won a home series against India in FOURTEEN YEARS. We absolutely raped you on 'FLAT DECK' :haha: at headingley back in 2002, and in 2007 we beat you very comfortably at Trent bridge by 7 wickets in a match that was never close, and then ran up 600+ at the Oval to seal what was a very comfy series win. Lucky ? sure, whatever you say man. i just love the hate here for the indian cricket team...love the illogial bullshit that some people come out with...keep it coming lads. B->

Will people remember this team as one which demolished every other team in all aspects of the game. Bowling, batting, fielding? Like the Oz of old? By the way when was the last time India played a series outside the sub continent? Just curious

Andy Posted July 23, 2010 Posted July 23, 2010 Erm' date=' im not sure you recall Dhoni hanging on until the rain at Lords. [b']Then there was winning the toss at Trent Bridge pretty much guaranteeing victory after heavy rain. It took Australia 34-35 years to regster a Series win in India in 2004-05. Two of the matches they won in that series were both because they won the toss? According to your Logic? Yes they were crucial, But will you attribute that series win because Ponting was lucky with the toss? My ass. You wont do that because It was 'Australia' and you are whining about India Outplaying you in England because of 1 bloody toss? FU. If it was some bloody toss and Lucky Dhoni in the first two test wid you bother to take the pain of leting us know what your Pommies were doing in the Oval Test?

I didnt watch the Aus-Ind series of 04-05 so I dont really know. Maybe they got lucky. India outplayed england at trent bridge and england outplayed india at Lords, a draw would have been a fair result.
