Crowbar to the knee, abduction, or good ol driveby. Dude has gone in a million different directions within 15 minutes of play tonight! 1) Some bullsh*t about getting Dhoni to declare as soon as they passed the follow on target then chasing 445 on the last day 2) Talking about sensitive Indians who are too aggressive in defending Tendulkar 3) Then talking about trousers!! Randomest dude ever. I can't believe I'm saying this....but I'd prefer a discourse of the traditional birds of India from Arun Lal right now then this torture.

the point that he made about Dhoni declaring once India knock off the follow on target was absolutely ludicrous. I seriously couldn't believe that such an experienced commentator would say something like that.

I was like WTF? I think the old man's finally lost it.... if anything, India should bat out the entire day afer lunch and aim to get 50 runs lead or something and then go all guns blazing at the Lankans tomorrow.

I find Ranil very easy on the ears. Where are all the Indian commentators? I also like Arun Lal talking about the flora and fauna of India.

I dont wat Tony Greig is all about,born in SA,played for England,lives in Australia and loves Sl his eternal love for SL is not hidden and gets highlighted whenever he is commentating,and i first noticed it in the semi finals of 1996 SEMIFINAL,when with each Sachin boundaries he looked in more pain than Srilankans themselves and ya trulky he is very irritating to hear and most of the times talks non sense

Tony Greig sold whatever left off his integrity to ICL. if u have watched the final between Lahore Badshah's and another team, u would realise that it is a set up for the tie. Naveed rana bowled 2 intentional wides for 4's in the final over, under instructions from Inzi. Greig was in the commentary and was saying -I want a 'bowl out".. he was part of the management of ICL.

Really annoying.When he talks about stats, he looks like he has no interest in it but still since that graphic is shown on the TV Set of vieweres, he has to say something regarding that, and whetever he speaks, is utter BS. :wall:

i dont care what you haters say... i ll take arun lal anyday. his commentary is entertaining, and the fact that he discusses other miscellaneous topics demonstrates his overwhelming knowledge. i d rather have that filling time between periods of inactivity rather than listen to how bad the pitch is for the thirty second time since the last drinks break.

^Agreed. I think the partnership with the great singer-songwriter SRK is legendary and will probably overshadow the achievements of Tendulkar, Dravid, etc..
