I think media is over reacting. And I also think a ban was over the board. It should have been a fine and not a ban. Anyways the mastermind Sanga still gets away. But it is SL board and not ICC ban and so it is their wish though I thought a fine would have been fair as he was within the rules of the game still though not in the spirit of the game.

I believe that the original plan was to bowl a no ball and get the game over with. They probably expected Sehwag not to score any run off it. When he hit the 6, Whinga probably thought that he got his 100 irrespective of his slimy ways. But as it turns out, the wacky rules stated that Sehwag didnt get his 100 and he learned about it in the dressing room.

Sanga must'v heard someone (Dilshan as he was linked and fined) advicing suraj to bowl a no ball and what sanga said was "he would still get the runs if he score' (Uta gahuwata hamabavenava' in sinhaleese).. (if he score off a no ball).. obviously sanga wasnt aware of the rule as was shewag.. shewag started celebrating after hitting that six.. jeese get over this.. Shewa kicked the ball over the rope in a match against SA, so that tha last batsman get to face the next over.. ball was clearly stoped inside the boudary..shewag got fined.. u give some u get some.. fair enugh!!

We are mature enough to acknowledge that there are good elements in your country which had nothing to do with this. Also, BCCI DID NOT INSTRUCT YOUR BOARD TO DO ANYTHING.
