vvvslaxman Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 One guy is captain. Other guy quit lol Relaly was a good player Prior in tests. Played some crunch innings for his side in tough situations.
virufan Posted July 22, 2014 Posted July 22, 2014 So people, Prior and Dhoni are two excellent specimens of keepers but who do you think is better? Prior has played 33 tests averaging 41.5 with 3 hundreds and 14 50's [thats not counting this test with his 84*] Dhoni has played 41 tests and has a similar average to prior [41.9] with 4 hundreds and 18 50's Personally I would back prior, has a superior record if you consider he bats in more difficult conditions in England and is also consistent under pressure. Dhoni has played 85 tests unless I am missing something here.
vvvslaxman Posted July 22, 2014 Posted July 22, 2014 Dhoni has played 85 tests unless I am missing something here. Look at the start date of the thread
virufan Posted July 22, 2014 Posted July 22, 2014 Prior has done well both in India and abroad in Tests. :--D
Straight Drive Posted July 22, 2014 Posted July 22, 2014 At this moment Dhoni. However, Prior averaged 40+ for consecutively 6 years and did not do worse than Dhoni as keeper. Would have voted for Prior few years back.
tothepoint Posted July 22, 2014 Posted July 22, 2014 Thread was started long time back. If there is a new poll, Prior will win by a huge margin. :icflove:
