Request to Mods : Post of the week

There is so many crap goin on here recently (not that i am not a part of it) that some good posts always gets lost in the shuffle. Lets bring a tradition common in a lot of message boards into ICF, Post of the week. Each week, we can have a few nominations and a winner is chosen either via a poll or by a small group of elite ICFers. The winner gets a few million ICF $ and the rest doesnt miss out on good posts made in ICF.

Zap baba wants mods to do the hard work of weeding out the trash :D

Not really. The users nominate the posts, i can create the thread with a public poll. All this needs for mod for to do is to make the thread sticky and control trolling in the thread.

Like the idea but i guess its difficult to implement.To keep a track of thousands of posts in the week is practically very challenging.If the mods. are up for it, i have no issues, its a nice idea to refine out some great posts from the lump of irrestible trash that we are seeing on board these days with some Trolls around.

Damn you people too reliant on MODs. Make a thread or use this thread and share any posts you feel are deserving of POTW and then they can be voted for or someone can decide

Exactly. Create a POTW thread and start using it to report great posts. Mods can help you keep the thread clean.

we used to have those long time back. All you have to do is create a thread and as soon as any one come accross great post, just copy paste that into POTW thread.

^i thnk txt spk is gr8 tbh But yeah POTW is a grand idea. create the thread and people can nominate posts that have caught their eye and not-so-short list will emerge and from it a true ICF hero will be born.

Regarding the amount of times India play Lanka. :hysterical: Can we make it so that posts dont just have to be insightful? They can be comedic or metaphoric but creative? :dontknow:
