Should we be worried?

No one would pay him to bowl badly coz he does the same even without being paid. And no one would risk their moneys to pay him for good bowling.... So the conclusion is that Jaddu isn't involved in this mess, and he cannot be thrown out through this. :((:((
I am quite sad to see ppl bringing Jadeja into this. What he has got to do with this. He is young cricketer, he is struggling, But he deserved his chances. It took Sehwag long time to establish himself in ODIs. He was dropped and came back. Everyone is not Sachin. Stop going to padosi level please

Why this unnecessary panic? Our current players are well paid in all departments (match fees, endorsements, IPL contracts etc.) and are educated enough not to fall in this trap.

Chill down Kabira.I was answering the question posted by Gunner_Mania nothing else. OTOH talking about Jaddu's performance, he is no where near the likes of Sehwag, plz, so no comparison.Veeru had a decent technique and his mindset which was attacking all the time, paid rich dividends many times. And here we have Jaddu, who performs once in 20 matches, his bowling is even worse than Sehwag, and batting worse than Nohit Sharma, so in all cases hr has turned to be a massive :fail: and here u are, defending this useless chap ? I know everyone have their ups and downs but this guy Jadeja has always had downs and never ups :(( I am sorry if i am being too harsh on him, but IMO he deserves this, he has been given lots of chances and till now we are still looking for a match-winning performance from him.

^thats fine if you criticize his abilities, ppl are calling him match fixer or potential match fixer, which is not on. The player usually takes few games to get settle. Do you knwo how many games did Sachin take to be really good ODI player. Before he startd opening he did not have hundred and His SR was less than 80. I am not comparing Jadeja with Sachin or Sehwag. Sachin and Sehwag are ultra talented, so it took them long to establish, why can't we give Jadeja benefit of doubt. Moreover why blame him alone, Almost all batters except Sehwag struggled on those pitches. All those batters are suppose to be better than Jadeja

Remember Marlon Samuels getting busted in connection with an Indian bookie? Apparently, he got banned for a couple of years IIRC. Have to say, it wouldnt surprise me if some bookie approached the Indian players as well, especially the younger players. But all of this is mere speculation ofcourse but it just shows that Indian bookies are surely there. We dont know what really happened in the 90's or even what goes on now. Basically, as fans we trust the players as long as nothing comes out and there's nothing more we can do anyways. The onus is on the ICC, respective boards, players, and the ACU (which I think is merely watching all these activities and not doing much about it) to eradicate such nefarious activities from the game of cricket. ICC has been pretty hush on this whole spot/match fixing issues in the past or trying to deal with it behind closed doors. They need to send out a media statement regarding all this and send a clear message that all this will not be tolerated.
