King Tendulkar Posted September 6, 2010 Posted September 6, 2010 No one is saying play in the CL if still a bit injured. What am saying is if the injury has recovered and is ready to play, then 20/20s is ideal games to build up his match fitness for the tests. And the bove article by ZK seems to agree with this
cowboysfan Posted September 6, 2010 Posted September 6, 2010 Zak should learn slip fielding,if we put him in the out field then he will get injured again.
King Tendulkar Posted September 17, 2010 Posted September 17, 2010 Good news. ZK has looked really trim and in good shape in CL. Impressed with bowling as has bowled with decent zip and looks in good shape. These 4 over spells are perfect preperation and tune up for real cricket. I predict an injury free period for the master of swing/seam and a great year for our number 1 pacer.

Since I have no idea of what is happening in the CL barring that MI got their asses whooped a couple of times should I take this with my sarasm meter switched on or off?

No I was not being sarcastic. Dont look at his bowling figures as irrelevant in this smash and bang cricket. Just that he looks trim and slim. Also running in with purpose and ball coming out well. He looks good and will get better and better. Credit for ZK for still being in good shape. Shows his proffesionalism and hard work

Zak has looked very fit, was a bit rusty initially, but is slowly getting back to his rhythm. So looks lik the article saying Zak could be playing in CL despite not being fully fit wasn't correct.
asterix Posted September 17, 2010 Posted September 17, 2010 Hope he doesn't gets 'injured' when we really need him..:winky:
jusarrived Posted September 17, 2010 Posted September 17, 2010 Since I have no idea of what is happening in the CL barring that MI got their asses whooped a couple of times should I take this with my sarasm meter switched on or off? agree with KT , smith and co will have hard time if Zaheer can keep himself for the SA tour
King Tendulkar Posted October 4, 2010 Posted October 4, 2010 Looks like it was perfect preperation:cantstop:
