Guest Hiten. Posted September 2, 2010 Posted September 2, 2010 For Dhoni CSK is more imp than India. :wall: How did you come up with that conclusion ? Baseless allegations are not part of Indian fans' trait mate :headshake:

Baseless allegations are not part of Indian fans' trait mate :headshake: Sirjee - I dont have any grudge against Dhoni. I admire him the way he has Lead India. But when was the last time we saw Dhoni's heroics with the Bat for India? I still have the Last final fresh in my mind. This is an Off-topic. I would like to discuss this on a seperate Thread. :--D
ZodiaC Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 Should be one of the weakest Aussie squads to tour India. A 2-0 win is pretty much on cards. At worst, 1-0. But just 2 tests, that sux :((
ravishingravi Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 For Dhoni CSK is more imp than India. :wall: Sad but true
ravishingravi Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 How did you come up with that conclusion ? Baseless allegations are not part of Indian fans' trait mate :headshake: Last SL away series ( not the recent one). Chk for yourself.
saneindian Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 The likes of Sehwag, Gambhir, VVS, Ishant, Sreesanth, Mishra, Ojha sill not have much cricket between now and the Australia series. While the others (Sachin, Dravid, Raina, Dhoni, Zaheer) will have played some competitive cricket and will have to adjust from t20 mode to test cricket. For the first set of players, we definitely need a week long camp with Kirsten and other coaching staaf before the series starts.
saneindian Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 For Dhoni CSK is more imp than India. :wall: Should Sachin not play Zaheer and Bhajji in the CL t20 as the chances of them aggravating their injuries would be higher?
Andy Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 Should Sachin not play Zaheer and Bhajji in the CL t20 as the chances of them aggravating their injuries would be higher? Why not. If they get Injured in every 2nd series they play, no point investing on them. As the'll hardly show up. Atleast they'll get some practise.

Karan114 Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 I just hope we don't stumble in the first Test. We've begun our last few home series slowly, though we managed to get out of trouble each time except against SA this year (but then we had an injury crisis/selectorial **** up that saw Saha play as a batsman). With poor preparation this time (a lot of the top players will be in SA playing that Twenty20 thing) there is potential for slipping up in the first game. Otherwise we are a clearly stronger team than Australia in home conditions. 1-0 my prediction.

Merely assembling at the NCA 2 days before the series won't help.

saneindian Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 They can play domestic cricket. The domestic season kicks off on the day 1st test starts i.e 1st October with the Irani Trophy match between Rest of India and Mumbai.
kabira Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 yeah man I saw that, stupidity from BCCI, could have scheduled 10 days in advance and most of big players would have played it.
Andy Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 And if they get injured again then whom will you blame? Will you then say "for Sachin MI is more important?" Are you actually Comparing Dhonis commitment for India with Sachin's? If you do, best of Luck. I wont like to talk Trash. And its not just me, many over ICF thinks Dhonis Batting abilities for CSK are more prominent than for India. :giggle: I have given reason why i want ZAK, Bhajji to play. Had they played in Sri Lankan i would have demanded a Rest.
ZodiaC Posted September 18, 2010 Posted September 18, 2010 Injured Josh Hazlewood misses India tour A back stress fracture has ended Josh Hazlewood's chances of a debut Test in India next month, but it has handed an unexpected opening to Mitchell Starc and James Pattinson. The 20-year-olds will join Australia's squad as standby players at least until the end of next week's tour match in Chandigarh. Starc, a left-arm fast bowler from New South Wales, will travel with the team from Sydney on Sunday while Pattinson, a right-armer, will stay with Victoria at the Champions League Twenty20 in South Africa until their finals prospects are determined. Andrew Hilditch, the chairman of selectors, said the injury was disappointing for Hazlewood. "He is one of the young fast bowlers we have identified as having an important role to play in Australia's future," he said. "At the same time it does create an opportunity for another two young fast bowlers who we are equally sure will make the most of the opportunities." Hazlewood, 19, earned his one-day debut in June and was only an outside chance to play during the two-Test series, which starts in Mohali on October 1. Mitchell Johnson, Doug Bollinger and Ben Hilfenhaus form part of the first-choice attack while Peter George was also ahead of Hazlewood in the team hierarchy. The injury comes after a busy off-season for Hazlewood, who also spent time at the Centre of Excellence in Brisbane. When he arrived at the Academy the coaches were intent on improving his fitness, but the extra load has taken its toll. "During the past week Josh developed low back pain while bowling in preparation for the upcoming tour," the physiotherapist Alex Kountouris said. "Scans have confirmed the early stages of a low back stress fracture." Hilditch said both Starc and Pattinson had made a significant impression at the Centre of Excellence during the winter. "The need for these standby players to return to Australia will be determined at the end of the tour match," he said. http://www.cricinfo.com/india-v-australia-2010/content/current/story/477653.html
