Pace ace Zaheer Khan has angered the BCCI by bringing his personal yoga instructor to the dressing room and physio’s office at Mohali. With the match-fixing scandal hitting international cricket, the board wants the team to keep a distance from strangers and expects them to avail help only from those who have been appointed by the BCCI. Highly placed sources revealed that when BCCI secretary N Srinivasan came to know about Zaheer letting his personal instructor inside the dressing room, he objected to it. “Though they are free to seek help from anybody when they are not playing for India, we cannot have players choosing their own consultants during the series. It is for the board to decide upon the support staff,” a top BCCI official said. It is learnt that a few Team India players were under the impression that the instructor was appointed by the BCCI. They even took his guidance, while the instructor used the team’s facilities for two days. “We were informed about it today. The BCCI doesn’t want to spread any negative impression.
