Laxman is the 2nd Inn (Indian 2nd Inn) specialist. But he is not fully fit. He'll be 'patched up' to play, but his mind, body and focus wont be the usual very very special against Aussies Laxman. Big blow for India.

Yes of COURSE he will bat, in such an important situation even if he'd broke his back he would stil come out in a wheelchair. Depends on how hes feeling, if hes 80% fit then he should come in after 1st wicket falls otherwise he'll be batting with the bowlers. However the way the pitch is playing i reckon Dhoni will actually do ok, as uv gota be flexible with all the short balls and bouncers being bowled.
