yoda
Got something to back that claim up' date=' Yoda?[/quote'] Too many to list, since you asked here iis one. Will add more when I have lots of free time. For starters, your rambling in the first paragraph, most of which is garbage, has nothing to do with the violation of the franchise agreement by these two teams. SachDan
Rajasthan Royals' termination stayed for 6 weeks NDTV Correspondent 30 November 2010 (Mumbai) The Rajasthan Royals took a sigh of relief on Tuesday after their termination order was stayed for six weeks by Justice BN Srikrishna. Royals - the franchisee in which Bollywood actor Shilpa Shetty has a stake - moved the Bombay High Court last month when BCCI terminated its franchisee contract alleging that the former changed its share-holding pattern without informing the BCCI. Pleased with the development, the Rajasthan Royals said: "It's a step in the right direction for us." The Board had also terminated the contract with Kings XI, in which actor Preity Zinta and industrialist Ness Wadia have stakes, on similar grounds. Both the franchises had opted for out-of-court settlement. yoda
This is good development. It would be a very bad deal for the fans of these cities to lose their team. That said, if there are ownership irregularities, the parties should work out a solution to fix this which could include paying fines/exclusion of certain unauthorized owners, etc instead of just closing down the teams. yoda
what out-of court settlement? they are referring to use of arbitration to settle it instead of a traditional court case.
Sachin=GOD
these teams would most certainly be playing the IPL4 because there never was a solid ground for scrapping these two franchises.
someone
these teams would most certainly be playing the IPL4 because there never was a solid ground for scrapping these two franchises. I doubt it, now it is a matter for ego for bcci and Srinavasan. Surely they will come up with some tricks or use some loopholes. Sadly, it will us fans who will lose with so much money flowing yet there is such a unfairness and greed for more money...
kabira
The thing is this could have been settled long back and no one would have known about this. Now this will get dirty, High Court, Supreme Court. We may not even have IPL4.
