Hindustani Posted October 11, 2010 Posted October 11, 2010 I am talking 401 Naah, not this time :--D though if I had been dhoni, and if I saw tendulkar at 320 after 2 sessions tomorrow, I will not declare, let 2tondulkar go on to be 4tondulkar, the series is anyway over in that case :two_thumbs_up::eyedance:
King Tendulkar Posted October 11, 2010 Posted October 11, 2010 Much prefer Sachin to get 402 then India win. But anyway 250 is definitley on , maybe even triple
Ram Posted October 11, 2010 Posted October 11, 2010 The moment he slowed down in the 80s we all knew he was aiming for a double. By just hanging around tomorrow, he's certain to surpass his previous highest score. But a triple? Thats pretty hard because SURELY by the middle of the post lunch session tomorrow, he will begin to tire pretty rapidly. Plus, there’s the question of wickets in hand as well. If Dhoni stays, Sach can make good progress, but if he is dismissed early, we could even be bowled out right after lunch. Ideally, it would have been nice if we had lost one wicket less yesterday. The team’s strategy is to probably hopefully keep batting till halfway past the post-tea session, declare with around 175 runs ahead. That gives Sach around 70 overs to get from 190 to 300. There’s definitely enough time, but will there be enough energy and wickets? Probably not. But triple would definitely be a fitting way to celebrate what has been a truly astronomical season.

mhr123 Posted October 11, 2010 Posted October 11, 2010 I would like him to score atleast 205' date=' then the gap between him and punter will be exactly 2000 test runs. :hehe:[/quote'] lol..:giggle:
Bradman99 Posted October 11, 2010 Posted October 11, 2010 Not a bad prediction here my friend, he's looking unstoppable. What a player.
gaurav92 Posted October 11, 2010 Posted October 11, 2010 I will be really happy, and so will be the billion fans
Manny_Pacquiao Posted October 11, 2010 Author Posted October 11, 2010 getting closer. the only issue is whether he has enough partners until the end of the lunch session.
VRV Singh Posted October 11, 2010 Posted October 11, 2010 getting closer. the only issue is whether he has enough partners until the end of the lunch session. I think he will run out, can see Oz running through the tail after Dhoni. But the double hundred in itself :hatsoff:
satishg Posted October 11, 2010 Posted October 11, 2010 250 is definitely on the cards, if MSD stays longer then 300 is very much a reality!
vvvslaxman Posted October 12, 2010 Posted October 12, 2010 I think he will start playing positively. Unlike Laxman he will play lot of shots in the air. So he will give chances.
Manny_Pacquiao Posted October 12, 2010 Author Posted October 12, 2010 another issue is tiredness. he has been batting for little over a full day. the mind must be wearing out, if the body hasn't worn out already. but he will get a new HS today for sure. 300, 400, etc. i am not sure about...that's a real stretch. but this IS tendulkar we are talking about :winky:
