What a shambles this selection is y on earth wud u rest all major senior players like sehwag harbhajan sachin viru zak what are selectors trying to prove what has rohit done rather than throwing his wicket to slips and what has jadeja performed i got a feeling either we lose 2-1 or 3-0 batting is weak in my view.

Uthappa is an impact player. You need such a guy at our WC campaign, coming in @ No.7, blasting during the slog overs or sent as a floater, up the order for quick runs You dont want tuk-tuk at No.7, we already got one in Dhoni This was a good oppurtuinity to bring him into the scheme of things...damn How many last chance is Rohit gonna get, this is just crazy

Agreed, But just to justify the selection Procedure how can somone be picked who hasnt done much recently? I have been dissapointed with Utthapa recently. Have high regards for him always.

Rahane should have got an opportunity. What a run he is having. 100 vs Australians in the tour game, 191 in the Irani Trophy and then 84 and 95 in Challenger Trophy, deserved to be picked ahead of Rohit Sharma.

Manoj Tiwary, was not internaltional class when he made his debut- needs a lot more consistent performances to claim a spot in the national side.

Then fair enough But if the top order does good and leaves Rohit with 10 overs to play. Then I still support him. The tri series in Zimabawe He had plenty of time as he came in early and had time to settle in thus he excelled. However Most of his matches he came in under pressure after top order collpase batting 6 7 8. Although I agree he still should have put up a fight, but thats not his style to salvage innings. Hes a players who builds a innnings with no pressure.

Talking about Recent Challengers both Rahane and Tiwary performed, so if Challengers are the basis of picking players, yes both should have got a thought atleast.

I'm afraid performing in a single domestic series is not enough to get into our national side- unless you are Rohit "talunted" Sharma. Rahane has done consistently in the domestics, also in the challengers- so at least he should have been given a chance.

Hmm agreed, But bother to tell what has Rohit and Jadeja done? My point was if Jadeja and Rohit can make why he cant? Atleast he is beter than Jadeja for sure.
