Lord Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 we gotta watch out for them, first game of the WC that too on thier hometurf, cant be complacent.whatever we do,must take care of Shakib n fantastic victory against a top ODI team including guys like Taylor,McCullum,Vettori
Ram Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 They are improving. I am not disputing that. But imo, they are still not good enough..it may take another decade and 50+ games to start winning one or two games. Till they reach that level, any game they play will always be looked down upon. They have played 50+ games. Can you guess the number of times they have lost by less than 100 runs or 7+ wickets? From their debut in 2000 to 2008, they have lost most of the games they have played by an innings. In the last 2 years they are just losing big and not by an innings. Is this improvement good enough for you? Again, you’re missing the point. Every nascent team goes through these phases where they get beaten badly. Do you want to look back on our test record in our first few decades? How about Sri Lanka’s? What do you think would have happened to us had we, or Lanka been summarily relegated? IMO, B’’desh would give teams like NZ, Pak and WI a run for their money at home. They only need a couple of other missing links to stand toe-to-toe with the big boys (India, Australia, Saffies etc..)

But honestly I don't think they will give us much trouble this time around though :--D

DIAMOND Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 Good going tigers..india need to be mindful for the WC. Hope India don't take them lightly for the first match on Feb-19.
fineleg Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 Good going tigers..india need to be mindful for the WC. Hope India don't take them lightly for the first match on Feb-19. While India should not take them lightly, the Bangles folks in their forums are taking on bets that Bangles will defeat India in the Worldcup. Some nerve that  India need to avenge the Bangles for 2007 and teach them a lesson. Har Har Mahadev!WAR CRY!
vaibhav_delhi Posted November 28, 2010 Posted November 28, 2010 Zimbabwe's team for Bangladesh series http://www.banglacricket.com/alochona/showpost.php?p=1232568&postcount=1 :haha:
