Expect for the samll fact that this is Sree third test in a row and Sharma is making a comeback after a while, so big advantage to Sree. Wait for the ball to get old, Sharma will bowl better. He is cranking up the speed here

Srisanth has ability to outswing the ball and that comes handy against left handers. Same thing what Zak does to right handers. This will be in addition to out swing of Zak against left handers and in-cutters from Ishant Sharma. It will be awesome variety. Only thing we will miss is Kumble in SA. we will do better there. Remember, after bowling on these flat tracks, these 3 will be all excited to bowl there. Besides, SA will have a surprise after facing Pak.

Bit helpful conditions, he appears diff bowler.

We are not playing any tests at home for the next 10-11 months!! That would mean if fit, these two will play in nearly all the 10-11 tests(3 in SA, hopefully 3-4 in WI and 4 in Eng) we are likely to play during this period. Good to see both of them showing some rhythm ahead of the SA series.

This match is important because we've had the rare opportunity of seeing both Ishant and Sreesanth bowl side-by-side in the same conditions against the same opponent and make up our minds as to who is the better seamer. Is this the first time this has happened? To be honest, there's very little to choose from b/w the two. Sressanth once again showed yesterday that he has that invaluable talent bowling some really good balls on some relatively flat tracks. Both the wickets of Guptill and Mcintosh were off really good balls. Ishant showed that the extra bounce and zip he adds to the attack can give it the 3rd dimension. Sreesanth set the tone for the innings with his two early wickets y'day, it could have very well been the case had he not gotten Guptill off a no-ball in the 2nd test. Ishant too has had his moments. He turned the first test against Australia in India's direction with his superb spell on the 4th day. Even today, he bowled with great vigor and penetration. So both are really good bowlers, with distinctive styles but similar levels of success. But the one factor that does separate Ishant from Sreesanth is his consistency. Sreesanth can be sublime at his best, but also ridiculous at his worst. You will rarely find Ishant alternate b/w such extremes. In a scenario where you're playing only two pacers, you cannot afford to have one half of your pace attack blow hot and cold. For that reason alone, for the times when we're playing only 2 seamers, I would pick Ishant over Sree.
