Another gutsy innings by the youngster. He's one to watch-out for in the future. Along with Asad Shafiq. Pakis seem to have their middle order sorted out after Yousuf and Younis retire.

what has umar turned out to be, all will be well soon! azhar probably has less talent and skills than umar akmal but what ever he has he utilises it proper, which akmal need to work on.

i agree umar still looks better than azhar ali ; but in all honesty 10yrs ago a guy like azhar ali would have never found a place in pakistan team

Will be interesting to see how he performs in NZ where conditions will be more bowler friendly than what we saw in UAE.
