Had it been Sachin, the entire media and the fans would've erupted, but for Dravid, its hardly been that way. He's always been in the shadow of the other current legends in the team and around the world. I feel bad for him, for he really puts his 110% and yet everyone is every ready to call for his head when he fails. The guy has practically done everything for his team, even wicket-keeping for a few years. Being Dravid must be really special, for, he really digs deep and truly lets the bat speak for him, be it in Tests, ODIs or T20s. I salute you, Sir :isalute:

It has nothing to do with Dravid or what you call a "collapse". This has more to do with the fanboi/girl who posted before you.

He has been constantly identified as one of the top three batsmen EVER produced by India and the man is seen as a pillar of the Indian batting line up. These kind of posts make absolutely no sense.

Only slow and steady cricket.

A few years back, I may have given you a different answer, but right now, for career overall in Test matches Tendulkar is better than RD. They are legends in their own way, and great to see VVS and Sehwag in the team as well.

If someone from your own team who ise currently playing has done it before, why do you expect any hype? Do people remember who climbed everest the second time? However, for the true Indian Cricket Fans, Rahul Dravid will always be remembered as the Greatest No.3 of all times, someone who fought it out and went out of his way innumerable times for the team's sake, often risking his performance and an individual whose commitment and dedication shall always be a benchmark for the youngsters to emulate.
