fineleg Posted November 25, 2010 Posted November 25, 2010 Seriously didn't feel like coming on net when he was bowling. The atmospher was so electric. Great to watch There is something about test matches taking place in Australia. Always brings out the best. Great day of test cricket so far. Absolutely. Brilliant atmosphere, Australian Tests, crowd, commentators (no Arun-boring-Lal and Singalongakrishnan) Test-1, day-1, pace bowling at its best :hatsoff: Happy Budday Peter Siddle!
kabira Posted November 25, 2010 Posted November 25, 2010 Bollinger would have been handy too, too bad they chose Johnson over Bollinger
Gunner_Mania Posted November 25, 2010 Posted November 25, 2010 Oh.. Mark Taylor was good also' date='he went bananas afeter Siddle got the hattrick,Mark Nicolas had to calm him down[/quote'] We had Lord Gower and Nasser Hussein on air at the time. In a unusual sort of role reversal Hussein was more muted and Gower excited.

Sid Posted November 25, 2010 Posted November 25, 2010 We had Lord Gower and Nasser Hussein on air at the time. In a unusual sort of role reversal Hussein was more muted and Gower excited. Ya that would have been quite a shocker for Nasser and other sky experts :cantstop:

Brilliant atmosphere, Australian Tests, crowd, commentators (no Arun-boring-Lal and Singalongakrishnan) Test-1, day-1, pace bowling at its best :hatsoff: Happy Budday Peter Siddle! England V Aus commentatory is always ok. As none of the bitterness they hae towards India and the clonial bias. Instead they are up each other asses! Crowd was pathetic against SL, atmosphere shocking! Talk about everyone going over board on 1 days cricket!
Bradman99 Posted November 25, 2010 Posted November 25, 2010 You obviously did not see the pathetic crowds and atmosphere against SL. There were more SL fans then aussies I wasn't aware we had any test matches against SL?

saravana_fan Posted November 25, 2010 Posted November 25, 2010 Siddle What a spell of bowling that was ... . Just looked like taking a wicket every other ball. Brilliant exhibition of fast bowling. Test match cricket at its very best. A word of appreciation for Ch9 commies who added a lot of theatre to the event and made it just awesome for viewers. The drama created by the referal just added more spice to it. PS: And as I type he has taken another wicket

Attendances in oz for tests has been poor at times, just thought would burst the bubble of how great attendances and atmnosphere is in oz.
King Tendulkar Posted November 25, 2010 Posted November 25, 2010 Bah' date=' don't tell me India didn't play in front of empty stadiums at HOME.[/quote'] Yes sometimes they do, as well as aussies do. Thats why not in to this how great attendance is and atmosphere is in oz. Certainly would not be empty for odis and 2020 like aussies as well.

From the videos here, it looked fantastic, the likes we have at Mumbai, Kolkatta or Chennai when playing some serious opposition.
