But SCG or Say RD were decent, Dhoni is not even in the Picture now unless he plays. We can only start worshiping Dhoni only after he delivers abroad.

Every great captain always had a combination of great eye for talent and also making sure they flourished under him .Eg, Imran Khan with Wasim, Waqar,I nzimam, Ganguly with Yuvraj,Kaif,Bhajji,Cronje with Klusner,Boje,Gibbs. Dhoni's eye for talent Jaddu,Joginder,Goni and to some extent RP Singh really isn't very encouraging

For every Wasim, Waqar and Inzi there were so many others who were picked by Imran but faded away. Likewise under Dada, the liks of JP Yadav, Sodhi, Joshi, Siddiquie, Sarandeep, Yohanan, Bahutule, Sanghvi, Dahiya, MSK Prasad, Ratra, Dasgupta were picked who were the Jaddu, Jogi and Goni of their times!!

^^ I wont say that we cant judge him yet. He has captained in decent number of matches already. In my opinion, he is a marvelous captain. Among the best ever till this stage in his career. We have to see whether he can sustain this level in upcoming series'.

The same Ganguly who took India to the Finals of WC , jointly won CT 2002 (where Dhoni's poor Leadership was exposed) Beaten SA in India . . Dont need much to say what happened earlier this Year. And if one talk about W/L ratio Ponting is the greatest Ever Aussie Captain and Sangkara and Jayawardena > Ranatunga. yes, the same Ganguly who taught us what it was to win outside of the sub-continest. The same Ganguly who backed players like Yuvraj, Bhajji, Zak, Viru, Irfan Pathan etc and now see where these players are. The same Ganguly who captained India after the very, very difficult period after the match fixing scandal. As far as Dhoni humbling Ganguly's W/L ratio is concerned, you have to remember that he's only captained 21 tests and also that teams like Aus, New Zealand etc have become very, very weak as compared to the time when Ganguly was captain so these stats DON'T tell the whole story.
