Haha this reminds me of the stake by some of the spanish fans about Carlos Moya. Just because he was on top of ATP Ranking for 1 week so he is one of the greatest tennis players.
LOL! correction Vamos...he was not one of the greatest tennis players...he was 'the best tennis player in the world at one point in time' lol

he might have been the World No 1 but he certainly was NOT the best player in the World by any means......... a player does not become the best in his sport just by being world no1, you also have to stay there for some time - Carlos Moya was the world no1 for a total of 2 weeks and won 1 French Open and was one of the best Clay coart players in those times but was'nt the overall best in the world.

Marcelo Ríos is another one I recall.

Vaughan got excited and went OTT , you still can't under rate Aussies .They may bounce back and nail Poms in coming tests .They have this ability to bounce back.

Dont worry son. I definitely need some lessons. Never mind my english. Here goes some interesting stuff to chew on. http://www.indiancricketfans.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=1299&stc=1&d=1292042798 Guys... the reason why India is # because even with less than perfect bowlers, we have managed to give them so much room to bowl out the opposition. As many as 29 times we have scored 400+ runs in last 4 years. Of those, 15 times we crossed 500+ score in an innings. Obviously, Pak is out of discussion. Even though england managed 12 500+ scores, 8 of those were scored against WI and Bang. While India's 500+ scores have come against Eng, SA, Aus, SL, Pak, NZ and Bang. 7 of those 15 were scored outside of india. Pretty remarkable. Isn't it? When Eng can manage that they will definitely be #1. Lets see.
But weren't there also matches where India batted second? There has definitely been matches where our bowlers restricted the opposition under 350 on a flat pitch before our batsmen scored. So lets not take away anything from our bowlers

SA prepared a grassy pitch for England in the 4th test early this year, England 129 all out. Australia prepare a bowler friendly track at WACA, England 187 and 123 all out. Is anyone saying they can't play on bowler friendly tracks?

I hope you realise you just made the most pointless post ever, yes Vaughan was rated as the best batsman in the world as he was ranked number 1, my statement is true.... idiot
Vaughan was the best in the world as he was ranked number 1 for 1 week, where as India isn't the best team even though we have been ranked number 1 for a whole year. Wonder who the idiot is. :winky:
