I have practised the same bloody shot, the cover drive, for 4 hours in a net session with the same bowler bowling full and wide to me. I used to be unable to keep the ball down on my cover drives

These news fellows are making a mountain of a molehill. Reading that article makes you think there is some sorta caste feud between senior batsmen and junior bowlers, and that our batsmen will have to face scud missiles and tomahawks directed at them by the saffers. Koi news item bhi tha kya, yeh?

Even if it is full, you need to judge the bounce before you play. If are late in reaching to the pitch of the ball, consdering bounce is important. Its been 20 years I have not played myself.

My post was in the past tense. My cover drive later improved to the point that it was my strength. i was an opening bat for the Bihar U-19 team and on the verge of being selected for the India-U19. About 14-15 years ago.

Why should he speak "sharply" to U.Yadav and he has to come down to "apologize"? He did apologize from a distance and that should have been the end of matter.
