Strong Battery Life ; Mobility is an ABSOLUTE MUST. I need a something that can give me a battery life of a good 3 - 5 hours. 3. Performance ; I need something with some serious grunt, I don't intend on using this to run heavy games or anything but it will need to run some heavy applications. Seems the Mac Book Air satisfies the first 2 but fails miserably in #3. HP pavilion series will do nicely for you. Meets all the conditions. Lightweight, good battery life and runs heavy apps (easily runs photoshop CS3, illustrator CS3 and dreamweaver CS3 simultaneously. Each is a heavy app in itself). While travelling, I always carry an extra battery. It's a good practice. Keep one spare battery fully charged so that you hardly run out of battery.
