Not really, he averaged over 40, thats good enough for me. There are plenty of players around county cricket better than Morgan too.

Moral is England should stay away from Pakistan origin bowlers. . For seam bowling it's England by a distance. As for spin I think India have quite a few who could do a job nearly as well as the primary spinner (this is not to say Harbhajan > Swann) whereas England aren't especially deep - though if Monty's renaissance is to be believed they may have a case here too. The Aussies have the poorest depth of spin in intl cricket :hahaha: Batting it is India, I believe

Without Laxman and Zaheer Khan, India can even be beaten by the Kiwis. Raina, Pujara, Unadkat are backups is just funny. Kohli should come in Without Steyn, South Africa is plain. I agree the Indian bench flopped miserably against Zimb and SL, but they have imrpoved since then. Im sure an Indian XI consisting of no players from the WC squad itself can beat top teams. (at least batting-wise)

Its a squad of bowlers, when one gets injured like Broad a Tremlett can come in. When ones off form like Finn then a Bresnan can come in. Thats called bench strength. Lets look at who India brought in when Zaheer was injured....whats his name again? Some malnourished kid who is a club bowler anway. Tremlett and Bresnan would walk into the India team let alone get on the "bench"
