yoda Posted January 3, 2011 Posted January 3, 2011 3 Varieties of South Indian Mango pickles are my top favorites: 1. Avakkai Pickle (Originated from Andhra) 2. Mango Vadu - small full mangoes - you can get a Bedekar version which is a milder form 3. Mango Thokku - grated mango made into a pickle I also like Panchrang especially the variety of items in it like Lotus root and the standard lemon/tomato pickles, but for me Mango tops them all.
