lol, Dhoni is being bashed by ganguly fanboize not able to digest the other comparison thread. They got a small window today and they hound like wolves What he did with Sreesanth incident is right..You don't put up with his nonsense for so long. He has crossed the limit endless times now, and a crybaby when reprimanded. Agree with the opinion that Dhoni sometimes makes some crap moves and sometime brilliant moves. He is no superhuman nor without any flaws. But every captain does that, not anyone gets everything right. Ganguly had both positives and negatives in his captaincy. Same with Dhoni, same with any other captain. End of the day, your achievements speak for you. Dhoni has that on the right track. andcoming to the CSK connection, if there are any fans who have to be peeved with his captaincy, then it has to be be CSK fans really. Go and visit the IPL forums - IPL2 and 3 where he made some of the dumbest decisions ever ( hint: Sir Jogi )

I wish you had cut down Categorising ICF ers as Fan boys who you tend to disagree with. I do agree Captains have their Bad days, just as Ganguly used to have and Dhoni had an off day like that. But i have been terribly dissapointed the way he handled Sreesanth's matter Publicly.

Not his fault if the Admins and Mods are resorting to calling members as "Fan Boys"..Oh so there are no Dhoni Fan boys, I believe..What about Harbhajan Fan boys and more than that Goddy Fan boys? :giggle:

May be the ones who have brought in Ganguly into this thread, But not all who has been critical of Dhoni. Achilies has been prominent of that. But its a News to me that he is a Ganguly Fan boy.

I dont think i havent 'Bashed' Dhoni, I did. For that i do not need to be Fan boy and that is exactly what i told him.

Anyway, Professor, it was not intentional. The question arised about capatins backing players and hence refences made to previous captains..There were few posts made and then stopped before you stepped in.. And review of any captain obviously will include how he manages his team and backs his team, in a hostile environment.. Whatever may have been the issues, you shouldn't go public. I think you misunderstood him, He meant Ganguly the batsman.

Maybe I didn't understand the context there correctly, but isn't that referring to Ganguly and Kumble as players? Ganguly as captain was brought in by someone with those truck waali Harbhajan stories, all those players who owe their careers to Ganguly etc. was listed. Anyhow, I have not even offered any opinion on any issue here. I was just trying to make sure the thread did not develop into a Ganguly-Dhoni thread when it was started with completely different intentions.

Actually Outy is not a Random Poster like Most of us, He is an Admin of the Site and one of the Best, May be the BEST we have. So i was a Bit surprised it came from Him. May be i have taken the Fan Boy thing too seriously. Afterall everyone is a Fan Boy on ICF at the end of the Day. But But, having said that i had no objection to what Outy said, just refered spectre, He categorises Indian Players as Gay Riders, etc etc we have in IPL. Cant see Indian cricketers Beyond Representing their Communities, Franchises and States.

We have better record in England than SA. And the bounce there is different, Here in SA is much more steeper. Which is difficult to handle.

Strauss is notorious of using tactics to suffocate the run scoring of opposition team and taking wickets due to the pressure created..Has a very good bowling attack at his disposal.. Dhoni will have to really work hard on his team selection, field placings and bowling changes..If England manages to score freely (like they are doing now against Australia), then our Maharathis will be under immense pressure..
