Anyone here appreciating Dravid?

wtf do u want him to do?? LOL he has made stacks of runs in FC, scored 72 on debut against AUS on a 5th day pitch and even tho he didnt make runs in SA he showed good technique and even earned praise from the mindnumbingly biased SA commentators. dravid hasnt done squat to retain his place in the side. give me pujara any day.
Pujara if anything, showed that he is not capable of filling in Dravid's spot after this series. He got enough chances and did nada here. We need to see more of him before deciding if he is even better than Yuvraj or Raina, let alone replacing Dravid. I am not saying Dravid needs to keep playing, just saying that Pujara has been a disappointment this series.

Guy has got a lot of flak for his lack of runs in this series but you have to say he played a big part today after Gambhir in bailing us out. He came in pretty early and then really upped his game - he was not at all tentative and was very solid in defence. Clearly he is not in form but he did his job and really blunted everything they threw at him. This was not at all a easy pitch to play on.
was a wonderful composed innings from dravid today, hitting everything in the middle of the bat like the dravid of old. great job

raina is absolute trash. the guy wouldnt last 5 minutes against a half decent pace attack in test cricket. aside from that innings at mohali vs australia, he got most of his runs in test cricket on crappy pitches. even new zealand bowlers worked him out quite easily. at centurion, he was an embarrassment, looked like getting out within 10 mins of facing his first delivery...giving catching practice to slip fielders after being bombarded with short balls. anybody who thinks this guy can play tests is a fool. pujara didnt get the runs, but he can play shots off the backfoot and has decent technique. he looks 10x better than raina. a few more matches will prove this. of course the cocksxckers that dont watch the games and are more interested in sucking whistle podu of chenaaaaaai super kingz in twenty twenty IPL matches (i.e. spectre) won't understand this.

I will go to the temple break coconuts, appreciate him etc as long as he retires right now. I have honestly had enough of him, he is one of those guys who won't leave unless he is forcibly kicked out. Its a pity but he just doesn't understand.

Raina has proved it at International level and has had a great start to his test career, yeah he failed in centurion, most of the senior Indian bats did. Comparing him with a rookie who just started and faltered at the international stage is nothing short of laughable

what did u make of raina's performance at centurion?

Raina also failed the entire NZ series and the last test against Australia, which makes it 5 tests in a row including Centurion.

yes, it will, because i know he wont be giving catching practice to slip fielders like raina. its funny how u completely ignored all my points on raina, thanks for proving me right. seriously man, wtf is wrong with u. do u ever watch any cricket besides T20 bullshit like the IPL and the 'champions' league ??

Raina is not the main question here, Pujara is. If you think he did well here you guys are delusional. Yes I saw him bat enough here in SA to raise doubts about his chances at the test level. Jury is still out. I am sure he will get more chances and we all will know the answer. This series he has failed in my opinion.

I don't deny. He has gone through a rough period. where were some of these idiots when he scored 100, 86, 64, 45 and most were critical knocks for that situation. I was just laughing at some of the morons who compare him with Pujara, who has done jacksh1t so far.

He is not going through a rough period. He has been found out at the test level, like a lot of other batsmen at the start of their careers example Hughes. It is time for him to work on his shortcomings and come back if he can. These failures have not been out of form dismissals but a systematic exposure of weakness in technique.

Why do I have to reply to some nonsensical points you have raised knowing everything is pure sh1t. Its all your damn opinion, whats there to argue on that. Nothing is wrong with me, something is completely wrong with you abusing posters as often as you jerk. You need some serious medical attention. I enjoy riling you up, after your first name calling post, dont expect people to put up with your garbage and you have to be a genius to come to a conclusion that I dont watch test cricket, just by peeping into your monitor. vaa reh vaah

Based on what, very few of his bad looking dismissals. I posted this earlier and I will do it again. In all his test innings so far, he has got out only once to short pitched stuff, if you check out the dismissals. How did he score his initial big scores, where all the bowlers knew about his supposed weakness when he made his debut. The same forum praised him to the tilt and for his temperament as well. honestly, how many new gen Indian players are really comfortable against quality short pitched bowling. Even the bigwigs struggle to cope up with that. This Pujara guy didnt exactly do a Ponting pull.

Pitch was flat by the time Dravid came in.. Today was his opportunity to prove that he is not a burden on the team.. but he FAILED again... This whole tour exposed that he just sucks ...Its time we groom Pujara, Rahane
