Will IPL fans miss Pakistan Players ?

IPL has lost its charm without everyone. People, PCB didnt bomb Mumbai. Nor did any pakistani who has a sense of reality within him. The pakistani nation does not hate Indians. They want to excel the way the Indian economy did and they look at you as an example. As I said, Ipl is getting boring anyways because T20 is being played too much, and secondly because players like Afridi, Gul, Riaz, Umar Akmal, and a few others who can turn it on are not there.

The Other Forum has been abuzz with the talks of a Srilankan Premier League where some Paki cricketers have supposedly been invited to play. The popular consensus is that the Lankan cricket board is a serious cricketing body and hence SPL will be a serious T20 event unlike IPL and hence good for world cricket. BTW, the overall budget for SPL is $1.75 Million :haha::haha:

ROFL. This has got to be the biggest LULZ of the day. Their version of the IPL will be nothing but a fab barbeque party comprising of all the associate nations and rejects from the IPL auctions. Serious cricket indeed.

if you find it boring' date=' toh tumhaari jal kyon rahi hai IPL dekh dekh kar B->[/quote'] who watches the IPL? Nobody bought the rights to broadcast it last year so ITV4 was showing it in the UK. In India it is supposed to be the premeirship (lol) but over the world its actually lost its charm.

First time maybe, but hell no for the 2nd time. ITV 4 is a flop channel in the UK. IPL used to be ppv on Setanta, after that, sky could have bought the rights, but it chose not to as people were not willing to pay the money to watch predictable T20's again and again. Its not the Ipl's fault in genral. People here in the UK do not take T20 seriously at all and therefore care less for their own T20 competition. T20 is being played tooooo much.

So the measure of success of any sporting event is its viewership in England? Good morning, IPL is an Indian tournament, we own it and we control it. Indian audience loves to watch it and guess what, India has got more cricket viewers then all other cricketing nations combined - and that is what decides the success or failure of a cricketing event. Your sulk is genuine, the exciting world beaters from Paki Land are not welcome to earn Indian money and hence your talented cricketers continue to indulge in match and spot fixing as has been their ilk for decades.

You will find something as lame as 'Houseful' funny. But the world wouldnt.
The very fact that you say that means that you viewed the film, Einstein. Kudos to you considering I didn't even bother to give that travesty of a film a look.
who watches the IPL?
Well over a 100 million people each year.
In India it is supposed to be the premeirship (lol) but over the world its actually lost its charm.
And that's supposed to matter to us because.....? :cantstop: It's called IPL for a reason, genius, not WPL. I think you are better off pooping on some other forum. Each point you make on here is pushing your foot just a little deeper in your mouth.

If you are a paki, then wasnt the charm lost back in the 2nd year? IPL has been growing bigger with each year and with india winning the WC, it will just keep growing bigger. Infact the only news paki players bought to IPL was doping, talking against the captain in a news conference and "showing hindu mentality". Its better the rubbish stays away.

Sorry guys' date=' me thinks this league is ending very soon, just like that 'pecker' series. Be honest, how long do you think you can run a discriminative league in a time and age like this?[/quote'] Good question. The said 'discrimination' is for non cricketing reasons. But lets not get into all that. If the policy of excluding Pakistani players has an adverse impact on the revenue for Lalit Modi and co, then maybe what you say would play out. My guess is that viewer-ship (in Pakistan) of IPL does not change significantly with the banning of Pakistani players. And if it does, the revenue differential is very minute. The IPL is here to stay.

Pak players are unprofessionals why should any franchise bid for them. Afridi had a go at VVS and VVS was right in saying that he lacks team ethics.Asif tested positive caused trouble for DD.UMAR AKMAL a guy who always gets injured when his bro is abt to be dropped why should anyone bid for him.Gul wasnt that good in IPL1 so why should any1 buy them though saying that i wont be shocked if SRK bids for them
