There you have it, he was, right now Jadeja has at least been playing cricket, making good performances domestically and therefore getting international opportunities where he has performed very decently at his age already. If IP cannot do that same path, maybe all of you supporters should shut up as there is no shortcut
3.4 Jadeja to Watson, SIX, 58.6 mph, That's over the roof, long hop, got into position early, moved back and pulled it powerfully over the stands, among the biggest sixes we've seen this tournament 3.5 Jadeja to Watson, SIX, 60.3 mph, another one, short one again, Jadeja gifting freebies here, Watson gets back and pulls it over wide long-on, just over mind you but a poor ball nevertheless 3.6 Jadeja to Watson, SIX, 60.4 mph, We won't see Jadeja in this game for a while after this, three short deliveries in a row, this time on middle and leg and Watson dispatches it into the crowd behind square for another big one 9.1 Jadeja to Warner, SIX, 60.5 mph, ..to be smashed for another six! Unlike his previous deliveries, that one was bowled on a length, cleared his right foot and struck it flat over long-on 9.2 Jadeja to Warner, SIX, 58.4 mph, five consecutive sixes off Jadeja, tossed it up, came down the track and chipped it into that gap between long-on and deep midwicket, timed it well enough to clear the ropes 9.3 Jadeja to Warner, SIX, 62.9 mph, six sixes in a row off Jadeja, bowled it flat this time but it was a length delivery on the off stump, made a bit of room and thrashed it into the stands over long-on

They are both rubbish. Crapthan has been pummelled zillions of times as well. He was like a buffet at some points i.e help yourself
But he has won a Test match for us too. Helped draw Test matches too.

Look he is rubbish. Jog sharma helped us win world cup, so what does that prove? That he should be in odi team? Wasim Jaffer/ Karthick opened batting and genuinley helped us win test series in England. But no one will demand their re call. I give many more examples! Your point above is redundant

You are useless. You just reinforced my point. You are making him a scapegoat. You find so long finding this record, but why did not post some of his wickets he got which would have been easier to get.

WHat a stupid comparison. How exactly jogi helped us win the world cup. Gauti won the man of the match for that match. Irfan won man of the match for Perth Test.

Jadeja is definitley more reliable bowler. As a batsman he is better as well. Pathan never has done much with bat, more hype/promise then delivery. They are both pants with Jadeja being marginally less pants. As a bowler I feel Jadeja has more pace. Although Irfan probably turns it more!
Irfan as a bowler was miles ahead of Jadeja and in batting there was'nt that much of a difference between them. Irfan performed well initially but did'nt live up to the expectations..........Jadeja has NEVER performed well in any format of the game.

Jadeja is a much better bowler for the Indian team. He can stop runs and add pressure towards the opponents. But Pathan, he cannot take wickets and either stop runs. He is a liability for any team who wants to be No.1. Either can open bowling and crap at final overs, yet will concede huge runs over the middle overs. There are tons of better fast bowlers in the domestic circults who deserve chance ahead of him. What we lack in fast bowling is not numbers but rather quality over a longer term. Jadeja has done well in ODIs and there are better qualified people who will agree with you.

Because I do not time as much as you to bring some random facts in the dicussion. Your point is very stupid that if a bowler concedes 20 runs in 1 over, he deserves to not play cricket. Every bowler has done well but why don't you consider the good performances of Jadeja which has occured a lot. It is very stupid comparision by you lot by bringing some bad matches of Jadeja vs some better matches of Irfan which happened ages ago and then making your decision.

So 1 MOM and that is it? Even Jadeja has it. But the difference is Jadeja is performing still till today well and therefore deserves the opportunities.

T20 career of Irfan 16 matches 133 runs 26.6 avge SR 125 16 wkts 7.74 Economy T20 career of R Jadeja 9 matches 65 runs 16.25 avge SR 86.66 5 wickets 7.48 economy I very much agree with you Jadeja is better than Irfan :haha: Also there is another minus point for Irfan. He won man of the match in T20 cup final. What a bad thing to do.

.26 runs less than Irfan. But he has phenomenal strike rate of 86 in a T20 :hysterical: In that case Zaheer khan must be worse than Jadeja as he as an ER of 7.84

Based on that Badrinath must be playing for national side not Suresh Raina.
Crapthan fans proposing bizzare arguments to get him slected:hysterical: Raina has been playing for India non stop for last 12 months. WTF are you going on about:((

You contradicted youself. IP is a good player because he was a part of t20 team while Jogi is a terrible player despite winning us the cup literally. If you are talking about T20s, clearly both of them are pretty crap.Although Jadeja has better economy. One days, clearly these economy rate matter more and therefore Jadeja is a better player while Pathan is a crap player who has declined yet people rate him as the next thing.
